As AIFF President praful Patel sold Indian Football to IMG Reliance for 700 Crores. Now IMG Reliance is the de facto owner of Indian Football and have veto over everything that concerns with football in India.

I League, the official League of India is given step motherly treatment by IMG Reliance. There is no marketing of the league and no revenue is shared by AIFF with the clubs as the revenue earned from I League is directly pocketed by IMG Reliance.

What is more astonishing that INDIA is supposed to play two matches in FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS on 8th and 13th October but ISL teams refused to release national team players for preparation camp on 29th September.

Later after backlash by fans on social media, AIFF announced that National Team players will be released 4 days before the WCQ match, including match day.

So, Indian a team will be assembling in Mumbai on 4th October and travel to Turkmenistan to play the match on 8th with no time to acclimatise to Central Asian conditions
