Some pretty interesting training, with a focus on using and mitigating the use small commercial UAVs — can’t think why…
2 PARA practiced using small UAVs to provide 81 mm mortar teams with target acquisition.
They also practiced disguising their firing positions as car crashes and building sites — this implies they were attempting to spot their positions using small UAVs. The Russians often claimed to have used their own UAVs to red-team their camouflage efforts.

Brief thread attempting to add some where and when to events in Kabul today (16 AUG).

1/
First, it's almost certain these people were killed at the airport. Likely attempting to enter from the south east. I'm not certain exactly where but the terrain matches that overlooking this section of airport.

It's very likely much of the activity seen today comes from the southern (civilian) sector of the airport and up to the runway.

This is where civilian aircraft were attempting to embark passengers.

At @JanesINTEL alongside a lot of other Russian units moving to the Ukrainian border we've identified the deployment of Iskander, likely from the Central Military District's 119th Missile Brigade to Voronezh.

The first spot of the Iskander column comes from unsurprisingly from Tiktok on 25 MAR 2021 on the highway between Ekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. Note the white camo and the number 121 on the first green transloader.
Six days later in Voronezh, at a railway station identified by the @CITeam_en team, we found footage published to VK showing this same column leaving Kolodeznyy.

A convoy of up to 50 Russian PMC vehicles entered the CAR from Sudan yesterday.

The convoy includes Ural-4320, some carrying Toyota Hilux, Shchuka, and UAZ Patriots. These photos were allegedly taken in Birao.
