They walk up the porch, then the door. Katsuki gives a firm knock, yelling “Ma, we’re here!” There’s grumbling on the other side before the purple door swings open, revealing a scowling Mitsuki and smiling Masaru.

Katsuki’s mother, was naturally the younger couple’s worry. She’s a particular brand of spice, but Eijirou was familiar with witty remarks and snappy comments. He was somewhat confident he could dance around them.

And Eijirou’s whole perspective shifts because to them, this is home. This is family. The man he love /so much/ is a combination of these two people and his heart clenches.

The fiesty, loving nature of his beautiful blond boyfriend rests in this house, in this home that nurtured and cared for him. That still does. And Eijirou was nervous about getting the chance to dig a little deeper, get a little closer, become more familiar with that?
A hearty laugh falls out of Eijirou’s mouth. Everyone stops what they’re doing and cocks their head to look at him. Eijirou laughs and laughs before wiping the tears away with his finger.
“Sorry, I just, I was really nervous to meet you guys.”

Mitsuki’s eyes soften with understanding, and Masaru’s eyes crinkle with joy.
“Well none of that, alright?” Mitsuki says, pulling away from Katsuki and turning towards Eijirou. “You accepted my boy with open arms. That means your family, okay? Now come eat! I made Katsuki’s

Katsuki and Eijirou are left outside, and Eijirou watches him straighten his clothes.

He had nothing to worry about after all.
