URGENT TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT

TRAVEL ADVISORY

In order to ease congestion and reduce delay along Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Lagos State Government, as part of the solutions, has, commencing from 8.00am, Saturday, 20th August, 2022, provided some measures as follows:

1) The intersection in front of VGC will be permanently closed, hence motorists driving from Ikota Shopping Mall/VGC inwards Ajah will only be able to make a U-turn just before 2nd Toll Plaza (Conservation Toll Gate).

2) The newly constructed U-Turn in front of Landmark Centre will be opened to vehicular traffic, hence motorists coming from Mega Chicken / Eleganza will now be able to make a U-turn only at the Landmark Centre.

Adetokunbo ademola is busy just as a result of the peak period time activity.

Ajose Adeogun inward Ligali Ayorinde is good to go. The return journey from Ligali ayorinde inward sanusi Fafunwa, Akin adesola, Law school is still in perfect shape.
Civic center enroute sandfield,lekki phase one inward marwa is very appreciable but just a slight delay at the point of traffic lights While the return journey from marwa inward lekki phase one is okay for now.

Movement from Ajelogo down to Mile 12 under bridge is also building up due to the pedestrian crossing and bus stop activities.
Ascending and descending Mile 12 bridge inward Owode Elede to Owode Onirin to weigh bridge is a moving traffic due to the truck Pushers, pedestrian crossing and closing time of Owode market.
From weigh bridge to Idera to Irawo to Thomas to Ajegunle down to Odo Ogun is good to go.

The return journey from Odo Ogun down to Owode Onirin to Owode Elede to Mile 12 is good to go.

Nitel inward Total is good to go while return journey to Abbattoir is slow moving one. Oke koto inward Sofunde is good movement return journey to Oke koto is slow moving one, Oke koto inward Oniwaya is also slow.
Return journey from Oniwaya back to Oke koto is good for now, Agbotikuyo is good movement in/out at moment, Capitol inward Mangoro Asade is slow moving one, Akanni Doherthy connecting Guinness is slow moving one too but the return journey is go to go.
Dangote inward and outward Ikeja is steady movement, Mobil is good to go in all directions, Akilo road connecting Marketing is good movement, Ascon junction down to Odo via marketing is also good to go likewise return journey to Ascon junction.
