Workforce data shows a distribution problem. Rural and regional populations are under serviced.

JCCA has served us well, however underfunded, held together by amazing volunteers by all 3 colleges over the years. In the fullness of time the qualification no longer meets requirements of the medical regulator, hence the need for refresh.

Trainee selection remains the responsibility of the individual jurisdiction following guidelines about pre-requisites and recommended pre-learning.

1. RGA roles in practice
2. Clinical fundamentals
3. Specialised study units

Units accredited for JCCA will automatically be accredited for DRGA. Over time, there will be accreditation visits. #ACE22TAS

DRGA - 44 weeks of full-time (or equivalent) clinical anaesthesia time.
Logbook.
Courses - CICO, Paed life support, ALS
Assessment - MCQ, DRGASSA, DOPS - WBA's minimum 2 per month, entrustable professional activities
