With it being almost Fall, time for a new pinned (and possibly controversial thread). This one is on the topic of non-profits that were founded after the #2020election whose ostensible purpose was to expose the fraud/cheating in the election which could perhaps overturn...
the result. I will be focusing (briefly) on 3 organizations: Defending the Republic, the America Project, and True The Vote. I realize many of the people involved in these organizations are viewed as popular figures in the 'patriot movement', alt media, etc. My intent with this
thread is not to personally attack the people involved w/these groups but raise important questions. First Defending the Republic which was founded by Sidney Powell, most famously known as General Flynn's attorney. On it's website, Defending the Republic, classifies itself as a
501-C-4 organization. defendingtherepublic.org. I cannot find any registration for Defending the Republic on the IRS website. I was able to find an audit report, showing the organization has received over $14M in revenues.
Here is a link to that audit: documentcloud.org/documents/2112….
While it's good an organization taking in over $14M in donations has been audited, I was surprised at how brief an audit report this was given how much money this organization has taken in. There are no details on the sources of these funds and the expenditures listed are lacking
specific details. I have heard little from Sidney Powell in several months and I can't find much in the way of tangible results in exposing the election fraud or providing remedies. The 'Kraken' never materialized.
Next up, True the Vote, famously known for their involvement in 10,000 Mules. 10,000 Mules was a good film in that it was effective in putting eyes on the issues with drop boxes and voter fraud. And credit to True The Vote for the work put into bringing attention to this
issue. True the Vote, unlike Defending The Republic, is registered with the IRS. However, there are red flags with this organization in that there are multiple 990 filings on the IRS website. So it's hard to know which is the accurate one. apps.irs.gov/app/eos/detail…
This site provides an updated disclosure on the revenues of True The Vote. In 2020, True the Vote, reported over $5M in revenue, a significant bump in revenue from over $700K reported previously. Due to the interest in the 2020 election, it is understandable that these revenues
increased. What's interesting though is that according to another amended 990 filing True The Vote still reports only 1 employee, Cathy Engelbrecht. Its unusual for a non-profit with this kind of revenue to only have 1 employee. I find it difficult to trace where the money is
going with this organization due to a lack of audit. Here is the link to their amended 990 filing. I am not certain if this has been filed with the IRS yet. This organization should have an audit done to increase their transparency.

Lastly, we have The America Project, a non-profit run by General Flynn and Patrick Byrne. americaproject.com/about/
This organization also classifies itself as a 501-C-4 non-profit. However, I could not find any registration for this organization on the IRS website. I also could not find any audit. I listened to an interview several months back with Joe Flynn (General Flynn) which covered
some of the activities of The America Project.

rumble.com/vthgpm-lin-woo…
In this interview Joe Flynn indicated The America Project an audit would be 'done soon'. I am not able to find any audit or filings that disclose the financials of this organization.
The three organizations I mentioned above have all been featured prominently in the media, they have been connected by many MSM outlets to Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election. It can be argued that these organizations along with the individuals connected to them have
all been the targets of media 'hit prices'. And yes, I do get that and see that. However, some times in media hit pieces like these, there can be kernels of truth. We should never dismiss these articles in their entirety

because of the political slant. What I find interesting is that Trump seems to keep these people and organizations somewhat at arms length - yes, he does promote them/these people to a degree but they don't seem to be in his 'inner circle' so to speak. I personally would not
donate to any of them. Time will tell if these organizations/people had the right intentions or if the allure of money took over their missisons.
@KimsSporty I am curious - what are your thoughts on this thread?
