🧵1/ When the Investigative and Data Reporting Task Force launched on April 2021, it became obvious that there's a great need to create a pipeline for Latinx journos to produce investigative and data driven work but also work on management roles. @NAHJ @YCabreraOC @fajardonews

2/ Since then, we organized in subcommittees and met monthly. At the investigative and data subcommittee, we brainstormed needs and provided training for our members. Special thanks to members who helped @DanielaIbarraTV & speakers @Kimbriell @AvQueenBenet @TaliaBuford @NAHJ
