unfortunately, all of the off-the-shelf options are *incredibly* risky, and would leave the body pretty full-spectrum immunocompromised. it's likely more selective and gentle microglial suppressants will exist soon, which is fantastic news for people with brain fog

also this is a huge piece of vindication for everyone who ever struggled with brain fog and was told by doctors to essentially just buck up and get over it, or do yoga about it. It's an allergy-like reaction in the brain. It'd be like doing sun salutes about anaphylaxis

Suppressing microglial activity is known technology in vivo but is done with existing medications that happen to be immunosuppressant generally. It would also carry an inherent risk of increasing susceptibility to stuff like meningitis etc, in all likelihood
