freedom is slavery, slavery is freedom

that's not only Orwell, but the current narratives of the Russian propaganda. Here's a short analysis of a few publications at ukraina .ru, a Russian Ukraine-focused propaganda site 1/8
one of the articles argues that today's Ukraine is... leading towards totalitarianism! Not Russia but Ukraine, can you imagine? The article argues, for example, that Zelensky is heading towards building a "completely dependent, totalitarian society" 2/8
today's Ukraine is a "voiceless totalitarian society of people who are not citizens but political slaves, whose capacity to resist is finally broken" 3/8 source: ukraina.ru/20220819/10378…
another article deplores Ukrainian "russophobia" and identifies it with "nazism". It tells a story of a "total nazification of education in Ukraine"; people who are now going to the frontline are those which were "zombified" and "ideologically deformed and nazified" 4/8
it suggests that on Russian-occupied territories RU soldiers should teach Ukrainian children in schools: "at each school the veterans of the SMO (("special military operation")) should teach children not only history, but other subjects too" 5/8 source: ukraina.ru/20220818/10378…
let's conclude. Russia is an authoritarian neo-fascist state leading towards a true totalitarianism. No freedom of speech for decades, huge propaganda, ban of real opposition parties, opposition leaders in jail or killed. 6/8
it wages a war against a democratic country where presidents are changing regularly, which has a plural political process and freedom of speech. It says this country is actually "totalitarian". Why? because it hates Russia, the aggressor. 7/8
and this Urkainian anger towards a genocidal, terrorist and aggressive country, Russia, which invades Ukrainian territory and kills Ukrainians on a massive scale - this anger RU propaganda calls... "nazism". So nice 8/8
