🇮🇹 Danilo Gallinari left the court in the 4Q of Italy-Georgia due to what seems a really serious left knee injury. One of the worst news possible for the Azzurri.
🇮🇹 UPDATE: By Gianmarco Pozzecco's words, head coach of Italy, the feeling is that Danilo Gallinari tore his left cruciate ligaments. Nothing official yet. "I hope and I pray that nothing bad will come out. It was... it is an honor coaching him. I saw pain in his eyes", he said.
🇮🇹 UPDATE: As said by Italy's team doctor, it looks like Danilo Gallinari's left knee ligament, the one already operated, has held. Gallinari’s having an MRI tomorrow.
🇮🇹 UPDATE: Marco Spissu, Italy's playmaker, is optimistic about Danilo's injury. His words after the game: "We confronted each other in the locker room, and luckily it shouldn’t be anything serious. We are ready for the European Championship".

🇮🇹 OFFICIAL UPDATE: As per Italy's statement, "Clinical findings revealed a meniscal lesion without ligamentous involvement. The clinical picture will not allow Gallinari to be available to the CT Gianmarco Pozzecco for the upcoming #EuroBasket 2022".
🇮🇹 UPDATE: According to @Gazzetta_it, Danilo Gallinari should be out for at least two months. He's expected to miss the training camp with the Boston Celtics, as well as some of the first games of the 2022/2023 NBA season.
