Brandon Beane says the #Bills, league and “double digit” amount of other NFL teams were unaware of these accusations against Araiza at the draft.

🚨 Beane says that Araiza’s agent did not know that he was being criminally investigated for the alleged SDSU gang rape.

Once Jane Doe’s attorney reached out to #Bills, team spoke to Araiza and he confirmed that his parents had hired him legal representation.

#Bills McDermott interjects to make this clear: “Please understand we are sympathetic to all involved.”

Beane on why #Bills didn’t continue conversations with Jane Doe’s representation after @dangilleon reached out in July: “I don’t know that any more conversations with him would have changed anything”
