#billgates explains why his daughter cannot marry a poor man.
Bill Gates response :
First of all, understand that being rich doesn't mean having a bank account with a lot of money.
Wealth is first the ability to create wealth.
Eg, Someone who wins money from a lottery or playing a game. Even winning $100 million is not a rich man, he is a poor man with a lot of money. This is why 90% of lottery millionaires are poor again after 5 years.
You also have rich people who have no money. Example: most entrepreneurs.
They are already on the path to wealth, even if they don't have money, because they are developing their financial intelligence and that is wealth.
What is the difference between rich and poor?
If you see a young man who decides to graduate, learn new things, constantly trying to better himself, know that he is a rich man.
If you see a young person who thinks the problem is the state and believes the rich are all thieves and they constantly criticize, just know that he is a poor man.
The rich believe they only need information and training to get started, the poor believe others should give them money to get started.
In conclusion, when I say my daughter will not marry a poor man, I am not talking about money. I'm talking about this man’s ability to create wealth.
Sorry for what I'm going to say but most criminals are poor. When they are in front of money they lose their mind, that's why they steal, steal etc.
To them it's a grace because they don't know how they could make money for themselves.
One day a bank custodian found a bag full of money, took it and handed it over to the manager of the bank.
People called this man an idiot, but in reality the man was just a rich man who had no money.
1 year later the bank offer him a receptionist position, 3 years later he is in charge of customer & 10 years later he manages the regional management of that bank.
Now he manages hundreds of employees & his annual bonuses exceed what he could have stolen.
Wealth is first a state of mind.

During a study at Harvard in the 1950s, Dr. Curt Richter placed rats in a pool of water to test how long they could tread water.
On average they'd give up and sink after 15 minutes.
But right before they gave up due to exhaustion, the researchers would pluck them out, dry them off, let them rest for a few minutes - and put them back in for a second round.
In this second try - how long do you think they lasted?
Remember - they had just swam until failure only a few short minutes ago...
This is interesting, a simple test on whether u are a right or left brainer. What do you see first?
I’d posted the answer in the thread below.
Which animal did you see first?
(1) The head of a tiger:
The left hemisphere of your brain is more active than the right. You are an analytical person, very focused on the success of your goals & organized. When you face a problem, you tend to be logic, calculator & objective.
However, sometimes you think too much about the decisions you make, checking that they are correct, which makes you tend to be firm. Remember that a little humility will help you help away.
An oldie but goldie. A mouse was put at the top of a jar filled with grains. He was too happy to find so much of food around him. Now he doesn't need to run around searching for food and can happily lead his life.
As he enjoyed the grains, in few days time, he reached to the bottom of the jar. Now he is trapped and he cannot come out of it. He has to solely depend upon someone to put grains in the same jar for him to survive.
He may even not get the grain of his choice and he cannot choose either. If he has to live, he has to feed on whatever has been put into the jar.
The story ends here. However, this is not much different from the corporate world.
In 16 years of power, Angela Merkel did not appoint any of her relatives to a state position.
Germany said goodbye to its leader, physicist and quantum chemist, who was not tempted by fashion or lights and did not buy real estate, cars, yachts and private jets.
They came out on their balconies and clapped for 6 minutes, a standing ovation across the country.
She leaves and her loved ones claim no benefits.
For sixteen years, she never changed the style of her wardrobe. At a press conference, a journalist asked Merkel: ''We realize that you are wearing the same suit, don't you have another?» She replied: “I am a civil servant, not a model.”
The CEO of Euro-Exim Bank Ltd. got economists thinking when he said:
"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he doesn't buy cars and doesn't borrow money to buy it. He does not pay insurance policies…
…. Does not buy fuel, no costs related to maintenance and repair. He does not use paid parking. The cyclist does not cause serious accidents. No multi-lane highways required. They don't get fat."
"Healthy people are neither necessary nor useful to the economy. They do not buy medicines. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. They add nothing to the country's GDP."
