Over 250 people shut down the white nationalist "Straight Pride" rally today in #Modesto in front of Planned Parenthood. Police attacked the crowd with projectile weapons, injuring several, after it successfully repelled an attack by a small group of Proud Boys.

Their rally completely shut down, the white nationalist organizers of the "Straight Pride" rally and their Proud Boy foot-soldiers then relocated to another reproductive health clinic that is not open on Saturday.

Barely rallying 30 people, the poor turnout reflected the group's over-all failure for the day, and a new low for the far-Right event.

Should be noted that today's victory came from hundreds of anti-racists, antifascists and defenders of the LGBTQ community + abortion access who rallied today, starting at 9 AM.

It would seem that Don Grundmann's attempt to build a far-Right network with groups like the Proud Boys has resulted in lower numbers and decreased attendance, while he has also embraced a self-described platform of white nationalism and anti-Semitism. itsgoingdown.org/leader-of-stra…

Also of note, Jesse Lee Peterson, who currently is in the middle of a sex scandal after being confronted by several of his former male followers - was a no show. Peterson was billed as the "MC" of the event.
