The cutdown to 53-man rosters must be done by Tuesday at some point.

Here's a thread of my 53-man roster 'prediction' or whatever you want to call it for #BirdCityFootball.
Special Teams; (3) - Matt Prater, Andy Lee, Aaron Brewer.

Kicking it off with a trio that are set in stone. No changes coming here between now and the deadline as there has been zero competition in the off-season. The veteran old men live to fight another day.
Quarterbacks; (3) - Kyler Murray, Colt McCoy, Trace McSorely.

Another slam-dunk, almost guaranteed trio that will make the final 53-man roster. Questions of whether or not they carry 2/3 but numbers allow it and protect Trace from being nabbed off the PS like we nabbed him...
WR; (6) - A.J. Green, Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore, Antoine Wesley, Andy Isabella, Greg Dortch.

Nuk is banned, that opens the door to keep both preseason standouts Isabella and Dortch around and give them 6 weeks to try make an impression when it really matters.
Whilst losing Hopkins for 6 weeks, the Cardinals certainly have options. Reuniting Hollywood with K1 should pay immediate dividends, as should expanding the role of Rondale. Green should be better in Y2, Wesley flashed as well.
TE; (3) - Zach Ertz, Maxx Williams, Trey McBride.

Another stacked group for the AZ offence - Ertz impressed following his trade and sticks around for 3 more years, should see the field a lot with Nuk sidelined. Maxx is Maxx. McBride might be used sparingly as a rookie.
OL; (9) - D.J. Humphries, Justin Pugh, Rodney Hudson, Will Hernandez, Kelvin Beachum, Josh Jones, Cody Ford, Josh Miles, Sean Harlow.

The Cardinals OL group looks deep this year, more so after the acquisition of Ford - who may jump straight into the starting lineup anyway!
Hump was extended, he'll be here for while. Questions remain over the other 4 starting spots though - retirements were considered, others only on one-year deals. Hernandez has impressed in pre-season, could he be here long-term if that continues into the season?
DL; (6) - J.J. Watt, Zach Allen, Michael Dogbe, Rashard Lawrence, Leki Fotu, Manny Jones

This group hinges on the health of JJ, if he stays on the field then they should look an OK group. If not, can Zach Allen step up and be a consistent threat? Manny sticks after impressing.
OLB; (7) - Markus Golden, Dennis Gardeck, Cam Thomas, Victor Dimukeje, Devon Kennard, Jesse Luketa, Myjai Sanders.

A stacked group but I'm not sure keeping 7 is a wise move? Seems...a lot? BUT this group did lose Chandler Jones and it's hard to replace a guy of that calibre.
Golden is vastly underpaid for what he does, Gardeck might be forced into a larger role. Thomas and Dimukeje impressed in PS. Kennard took a paycut, may as well stick with him. Sanders, won't give up on a 3rd just yet. Luketa might make ST and versatile LB.
ILB; (4) - Zaven Collins, Nick Vigil, Tanner Vallejo, Chandler Wooten.

Big things expected from Collins this year, will he deliver? Vigil, coming in to fill the Jordan Hicks void and face the vast majority of 'hate tweets' from Twitter even though he's doing his job correctly
Vallejo is a solid guy, both on defence and on Special Teams. Wooten looked good in preseason versus oppositions fighting for their NFL careers, could he be another UDFA diamond for the Cardinals?
CB; (4) - Byron Murphy, Marco Wilson, Josh Jackson, Christian Matthew.

Byron Murphy might be pretty to look at but this group isn't pretty to look at on paper. I'd expect this to change before KC roll into town. For now, it's 4 to make the numbers add up.
S; (3) - Budda Baker, Jalen Thompson, Charles Washington.

Another group lacking depth but Budda and JT are up there with the best Safety tandems in the league. Washington is a good, solid ST guy so makes it over the likes of Deionte Thompson and James Wiggins, who could be PS.
⭐️Backer; (1) - Isaiah Simmons

You thought I forgot him, huh? No chance. Isaiah could play here, he could play there, he might play every fucking where. He'll just do his thing and we'll live and die by him. Sorted.
...and that is that. I hope my maths adds up and there are 53 people mentioned over this series of tweets.

Let us know what you think. Who did we miss out? Who shouldn't be in it? (Any Isabella slander = immediate blocking).

Let's go, #BirdCityFootball.
If you would be so kind to unroll this @threadreaderapp...
RB; (4) - James Conner, Eno Benjamin, Jonathan Ward, Keontay Ingram.

Won't get far without any running backs now will we? Conner back on a multi-year deal, Eno impressed in preseason same with Ingram (and saw off Darrell Williams). Jonathan Ward, special teams, perfect.
