It Is Now Undeniable π
Vaccine can cause more Myocarditis in Men Under 40 Than COVID-19;
Just OUT! Patrone Circ 2022;
I have said repeatedly Moderna should be banned in Men<40
FDA failed Americans
& this analysis is more complicated
Everyone gets breakthrough eventually 1/7
You have to add myocarditis rates post COVID19 (among ppl w 1 dose) to D1 vaccine induced myocarditis rates for total myocarditis from 1 dose + breakthrough
And COVID myocarditis rates (s/p D2) to D1 & D2 vax rates for total myocarditis rates if you get 2 doses... etc
And of course also consider all complications post breakthrough, which may vary based on 0, 1, 2, or 3 doses
Dose 1 Pfizer in young men then breakthrough might have been optimal (full data to do the calc is not provided);
Moderna looks awful, as I have cautioned. Clearly bad
The lesson is all or nothing was always misguided. We proved that a long time ago
We urged public health to consider middle strategies
The difference between my analysis and this little news piece is that I can tell the difference between a 26 year old man and 85 year old woman, and they apparently cannot.
If you lump everyone together, you are hiding the safety signal
I would prefer if my WH Covid czar understood:
Immortal time bias
Residual Confounding
Testing/ ascertainment bias
Endpoint adjudication bias
And:
Why we run RCTs
CDC director thinks the agency spends more time trying to write papers for MMWR than actually collecting and reporting data
that must be why the intellectual rigor & methodology are so high in that publication
Pre-covid if the CDC presented their color coded map as a basis to recommend masking to the American population with high vaccine uptake & high natural immunity and were asked to explain their work & thought process, they would rank toward the bottom of a 6th grade science fair.
Im no fan of moralizing diet gurus. I know nutrition evidence is poor. I will eat a Krispy Kreme donut happily. It's delicious. But her claim was eating it *every day* is bad. And they object. I just can't understand that. Of course, eating it every day is bad. That's obvious π€£
I just can't understand hating someone so much that you attack them for saying eating Krispy Kreme donuts "EVERY DAY" is bad. We are talking about every day forever... What is going on...π€£π€£
Sorry, I just laughed so hard today thinking about this.
