According to information available to Odesa-based newpaper Dumskaya, Ukrainian troops are advancing in at least two directions towards Kherson.
Nataliia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, says that "the offensive actions are being carried out in many directions in the south of Ukraine."
Sources of Ukrainska Pravda in the Ukrainians Armed Forces stationed in the south note that in some areas there was a breakthrough of the Russian first line of defense, but "it's too early to say anything concrete, the front is big."
Odesa Oblast spox Bratchuk says the following Russian rear facilities hit in Kherson Oblast so far today:
- base at machine-building factory in Beryslav
- army post near N-Crimean Canal
- River crossing in Lvove, Beryslav district
- mmmo depot in Havrylivka, Beryslav district

Russian military-related Telegram channels claimed that the Ukrainian military were trying to break through in the area of Posad-Pokrovske amid the "escalation along the entire front-line". Posad-Pokrovske lies on the highway connecting Mykolaiv to Kherson.
Ukrainian military calls to remain silent regarding the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces:
