#thomato 🍅 Thoma remembers his mother saying, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" every time he doesn't want to get up in the morning just to eat and he remembers how his mom gently coax him out of bed until she runs out of patience and shouts Thoma's full name.

🍅 His mother is kind, just don't push her buttons too much or you'll face the wrath of the "dragon of Mondstadt", his father would usually say to tease her.

So when he becomes Kamisato's retainer, he makes sure that Ayato has a healthy breakfast meal to start his day.

🍅 From the appetizer up to the main course and even the warm tea that Ayato loves to drink, Thoma knows it well. He perfected it.

Ayato used to skip breakfast before and he'd be grumpy all day. Grumpy in a way that he smiles a lot but it gives a chill down your spine.

🍅 No one wants to get in Ayato's bad side when he's like this. Thoma realizes it's because his day starts without a proper meal and since then, he has studied different kinds of healthy breakfast. He never left the kitchen until he got satisfied with the taste of his food.

🍅 Everyone notices how Ayato "glows" when he's doing his work. His skin is smoother and his complexion is not as bad as before. Thanks to the most reliable Kamisato retainer, Thoma, they won't see Ayato in his scary state.

"It's a feast this morning too,"

🍅 Ayato chuckles while sitting down on the chair that Thoma pulls for him. The room is filled with the delicious scent of food and the sweet aroma of tea.

"Of course, waka," Thoma says proudly. "Remember when I told you that my mother used to tell me—"

🍅 "That breakfast is the most important meal of the day," Ayato finishes for him. "Thank you for another delicious meal, Thoma."

Thoma rubs his nape, a little shy from how gently Ayato thanked him. His voice is almost a whisper: words getting carried by the wind.

🍅 "But aside from breakfast, aren't you forgetting something?" Ayato gently wipes his lips with the napkin that Thoma prepares.

Thoma looks at him with a face that says he has no idea what Ayato is talking about but when Ayato taps his lips with his finger, Thoma blushes more.

🍅 Ah, Ayato wants a kiss. Thoma usually does it right after Ayato wakes up, when his mind is still foggy with sleep but now that Ayato is completely awake, Thoma is embarrassed to even get closer.

"Waka, someone might come in and see," Thoma says but he finds his body

🍅 moving closer until he is close enough for Ayato to pull him down.

"You say that but your face tells me you want it to."

How could he not? Kissing Ayato used to be one of his dreams. He's lucky enough that he gets to do it not just once but more than once a day.

🍅 Thoma closes his eyes and lets his lips linger, smelling the sweet scent of tea and tasting the slight minty flavor of it. When he pulls back, Ayato looks so much brighter and happier than earlier.

"Thank you for the dessert." Ayato kisses Thoma's cheeks before he goes.
