I am leaving @Google this week due to retaliation & hostility against workers who speak out. Google moved my role overseas immediately after I opposed its $1B AI/surveillance contracts with Israel. And this is far from an isolated instance.

Our Palestinian coworkers are being silenced across the company. Workers who support Palestinian rights are getting HR warnings, harassment, even pay cuts and negative performance review feedback.

In 2020 Google even APOLOGIZED to Jewish employees for donating to M4BL, claiming the donations were antisemitic b/c of M4BL's support for Palestinians. (more details in this letter) medium.com/@arielkoren/go…

Then, “in the name of fighting antisemitism” the company made a $400K donation to 4 right wing non-Black groups in the middle of the BLM uprisings. Hundreds of Jews protested and escalated our dissent to our management chains. Leadership ignored us.

The next year amidst the May 2021 siege on Gaza, Google signed its enormous $1B contract to aid Israel in scaling out displacement & surveillance of Palestinians. The world’s largest search engine weaponizing “diversity” to justify harming Palestinians is a crisis of conscience.

More & more workers are speaking out. Workers are fed up w/Google's aggressive pursuit of military contracts and pattern of unlawful retaliation. We are fighting back & we have each other's backs❤️ Workers & civil society won't stop until Google does the right thing: @DropNimbus
