⚡️ On Wednesday morning, August 31, the Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Robert Mardini, met with the families of prisoners of war in Kyiv.
"I met with relatives of prisoners of war who also represent other families. They are still waiting for news from their loved ones.
After today's conversation, I am eager to defend even more strongly the position regarding full access to prisoners of war in international armed conflict," - said the Director General.

⚡️The Ukrainian side considers it strange that the visit of the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhia NPP lasted only two hours, – Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President's Office of Ukraine, says on the air of the telethon.
He notes that the IAEA has specific algorithms for studying what is happening at the nuclear power plant, whether there is danger there, as well as studying the state of the reactor.
"That's why it's surprising that the mission lasted two hours. But the IAEA says that representatives will remain there on a permanent basis.
