I've been a war journalist for 12 years so if I wanted to cosplay I would have avoided a career working in active conflict zones. But whatever makes you happy pal, if telling yourself that I'm only pretending to be a journalist cheers you up, go for it.
A little bit about my background, my British mother was a Red Cross nurse and my Lebanese father was a volunteer during the civil war, which is where my parents met. My uncle on my mum's side was a war journalist. From childhood, all I ever wanted to be was a war journalist.
If you're going to attack me, you're going to have to do better than claiming I'm not actually doing the job I spent my entire life training to do, and spent the last decade doing successfully for some of the biggest media organisations in the world.

Starmer is quite right, and speaking of conmen, the Chutzpah on this mob after the antisemitism scandal is incredible. They lied and gaslit for four years and suffered the worst election defeat in nearly a century. Imagine thinking anyone should still listen to them.
Owen repeatedly beclowned himself on both antisemitism and foreign policy in the Corbyn years, lying through his teeth at every given opportunity. Starmer is right to dismiss him as a cheerleader, whatever claims to journalism he once had were abandoned years ago.
You would think after the horror show his camp put on in the weeks leading up to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine would be enough to give them pause for at least a few months, but no, it’s just a relentless propaganda campaign that will never acknowledge its own defeats or failures.

This is a strong statement, and one that unequivocally states the Ukrainian government's diplomatic position going forward. This should end any further spurious suggestions that the west is forcing Ukraine not to negotiate.
It also demonstrates the Ukrainian government's clear-eyed understanding of Russian "diplomacy", and doubles down on their resolve to liberate their territory in its entirety.
Those still demanding an end to arms transfers or pushing for negotiations are explicitly demanding that western governments pressure the Ukrainians into making concessions, completely against the will of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian government, who speak as one on this

Days without the left defending Anwar al-Awlaki counter resets to zero
He was a senior Al-Qaeda operative based in Yemen, actively plotting to kill American civilians. Yet again I am asking these people to please read literally anything before deciding to expose their whole ass to the world.
It sounds like he’s saying Obama should have arrested him and put him on trial (I agree), which would involve a special forces operation with boots on the ground in Yemen. The only other alternative is to ignore the AQ operative trying to murder your citizens.

Very sad news to report this morning, a drunk driver swerved off the road and hit Tank the dog yesterday while he was out walking with his new family and sadly he passed away. I’m so sad I’ll never get to see my brave little friend again, rest in peace little man 😢 xxx Image
He got to spend the last months of his life loved, surrounded by friends and far away from the trauma of war, and I can take solace in the fact that he was living out his best life after surviving hell. Image
I was really hoping to visit him and see if he recognised me, genuinely devastated by this news. Thank you for all your kind words x

Novara Media were also complicit in this, even as the fact that this was a clear state-backed hack and leak operation. Now the Tankies are under investigation: politico.eu/article/mi6-ru…
At the end of the day Aaron Bastani and co were very enthusiastic to disseminate a Russian state-backed hack and leak of one of their domestic political opponents, even with the full knowledge that the source was a dictator-worshipping atrocity revisionist working for the Kremlin
They did this while also routinely defending Kremlin talking points, much like they spent the weeks in the buildup to the invasion mocking and insulting those who were reporting that an invasion was imminent.
