1/ Our next round of staking kicks off on July 31st! This cycle will run for 14 days and ends August 13th at 23:59 UTC. We’re excited to continue offering staking rewards to our community while we work hard on developing improvements to the experience. More information below!👇

Excited to announce staking! The first cycle will start at *1 July 2022 0:00 UTC*. Move your IMX tokens to your Immutable X layer 2 wallet before then.

Recent events like Celsius highlight the priority for self-custodial staking. Your assets should always be yours.

2/ The first phase of staking will begin with automatic rewards for active $IMX users at the end of each cycle, before soon switching to a self-custodial staking process with an interactive dashboard in the second phase.
3/ To be eligible for this first phase of staking, your Immutable X L2 wallet needs:
- To hold 10 minimum IMX tokens throughout the cycle
- Trade at least one NFT during the staking cycle

The first staking cycle will be from 1 July to 30 July.

This allows us to support trading which is uneconomical on platforms with higher fixed-cost gas fees.
3/ Our goal with @Immutable X has been the same since day 1: enable planet-scale web3 games.

Cheap gas is an improvement - but eliminating gas altogether is a massive UX and developer experience advantage unique to Immutable X.
