PM Sri @narendramodi Ji inaugurated & laid foundation stone for several projects worth ₹3800 crore in Mangaluru today.

The initiatives will enhance efficiency in port capacity & boost business environment in port related economy.

Over ₹280 crore was spent on mechanization of Berth No. 14 at New Mangalore Port Authority (@NewMngPort).

Phase-1 of project stands completed adding over 4.2 MTPA of handling capacity

This is set to raise to 6 MTPA by 2025

Also, two projects by @Ongc_Mrpl built with cost of over ₹2,500 were inaugurated.

BS VI Upgradation Project : For production of environment friendly ultra-pure BS-VI grade fuel

Sea Water Desalination Plant : To reduce dependency on fresh water for refinery processes.

Further, foundation stone for 5 port projects worth ₹1,000 were laid.

Key projects include

▪️ Integrated LPG Facility : To strengthen PM Ujjwala Yojana in Mangaluru.

▪️ Fishing Harbour at Kulai : To be developed under Sagarmala prog. for benefit of fisherman community

400 करोड़ की लागत की यह परियोजना यात्रियों के लिए विभिन्न सुविधाऐं जैसे संग्रहालय, पुस्तकालय, हॉस्पिटल, गेस्टहाउस और आरामघरों का निर्माण करेगी।

इस परियोजना के संपूर्ण होने के बाद एक साथ कम से कम 2 लाख लोग दर्शन कर सकेंगे।
