If push comes to shove and governments force Google to remove Bitcoin apps from Play, we'll still have a reliable mechanism to get out updates to our Android users.

Reproducible builds mean you don't have to trust us as much.

Our code has always been inspectable (+ FOSS), but now you can recreate our APKs bit for bit (minus our dev signature) and verify we're not adding in anything malicious.

@btc_remnant @4moonsettler @cypher_poet Bonus: if you have an older phone and Google Play wasn't allowing you to install Zeus, it's worth another go now.

The issue was Google Play wouldn't let you install it if you didn't have NFC capability. That's been fixed.

Self-hosted F-Droid is way better though ;)
