COULD THESE HOME OFFICE MEMOS BE THE DOWNFALL OF THE RWANDA DEPORTATION SCHEME?
Memos gathered as evidence against the Home Office shed crucial insight into the devious nature of Priti Patel's plans...but will they be enough? 1/6
THESE MEMOS PROVIDE KEY EVIDENCE OF HOME OFFICE SKULDUGGERY
Highlighted widely and developing a notorious international reputation, these memos seem to reinforce the HO as a department NOT to be trusted... 2/6
THANKFULLY there are good people out there who are working hard, either directly or indirectly in the arena of helping asylum seekers, charities and refugees seeking justice against the Home Office's cruelty - find them, follow them, support them ✊

EXPLOITATION, MEDICAL RACISM, AND DANGEROUS RECRUITMENT PRACTICES
NHS struggles have led to heinous practices for unregulated profiteers AND our own government.
WHAT IS GOING ON?
1/
“That the UK should have [to] do special deals with other countries to support its own NHS workforce is in itself a marker of how workforce planning for the NHS has failed,”
VALID AND DAMNING CRITICISM from the president of the Royal College of Physicians
2/
The DHSC has been recruiting from World Health Organisation red-listed countries, tempting away healthcare staff where they are most urgently needed... The exploitation means some nurses are paying THOUSANDS to join the NHS
‘SOUL DESTROYING RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IS RIFE in the workplace’-for WHITE privilege deniers
If young Black people are doing better in school than their white counterparts they still find the cards stacked against them when they enter the world of work @Channel4News 18/08/16 1/
[in Aug 2016] The Equality and Human Rights Commission said there's "entrenched race inequality" across society, with ethnic minorities more likely to live in poverty than white people, while black workers with degrees earn 23% less than equivalent white employees.

And once at work…
🔸New research by TUC shows 40% of Black & minority ethnic workers have faced racism at work
More than 50% the 18-34 yo polled said they had been racially abused at work in the last 5 years, in our opinion, it’s much higher… 3/ morningstaronline.co.uk/article/b/soul…
Representation in media and TV of all PoC matters in general.
However, it is actually necessary when discussing any racism related topics. A great example of this came about
1/
mid week when Andrew pierce decided to target young Black Londoners by stating “there is a particular problem with knife and gun crime with young Black men” on @GMB. 2/
The discussion was about the horrific murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel, the fact that Andrew managed to twist the conversation towards young Black men proves his racism was not only premeditated, but it is ingrained within him.
Before we catch up as to how all things with the Rwanda deportation flights stand, here is great article from the Guardian chronologically capturing the events leading up to how things went from ‘tens of thousands’ to a cancelled flight: 3/ theguardian.com/world/2022/jun…
Undoubtedly he is the best F1 driver in history, but it's his actions off the circuit that also make him a legend. A brief overview from us highlighting some key aspects of racism encountered by @LewisHamilton and his valiant and commendable response: 1/
Nelson Piquet’s [retired Brazilian F1 driver] racial slur [the N word] is probably the most recent and prominent incident, here is what Lewis had to say on this: 2/
However, it was the ‘Black facing’ incident by ‘F1 fans’ in 2008 which still haunts him to this very day! Due to Formula 1 having a serious problem with lack of diversity, he said: “I remember the pain I felt that day, but I didn’t say anything about it. I DIDN’T HAVE ANYONE.” 3/
The news broke this week that the Metropolitan police have form for strip-searching children... especially young Black boys, who made up a statistically significant proportion of the 650 searched!!! 1/ independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
Mere months after the appalling Child Q scandal, the Met stand accused of racist, vilely persecutory practices as a matter of course - averaging 12.5 children strip searched PER WEEK!
In fact this January, Priti Patel announced her vehement opposal to child sex abusers, claiming to find it a "sickening crime" however, in spite of pleas by Hackney Council for action, 3/ news.hackney.gov.uk/time-for-actio…
