So focus on 1st and 2nd proff > minors > majors (if time)
Allot 5 days for each subject.
D1- most important: just do 5 yr PYQs. Year wise note down important topics asked each year.
D2-D5 just read those topics in detail.
Don’t read:
ENT
Optha
Medicine
Anaesthesia
Takes up time. ENT, Optha questions are tough and low yielding. 50% medicine gets covered in 2nd proff.
Revision in the last 10 days is the key. Nov 1-12 is for revision. No new knowledge.
PG entrance preparation was the worst time of my student life. Never have I ever felt so underconfident and scared about my future. Not even PMT, even though the competition was much more there.
Lessons I learnt from my PG prep. A 🧵
.
.
1. Once you have decided you want to do PG in India, finish this PG prep phase quickly preferable within a year. It’s the most stressful part of a medicos life because we all know salaries post MBBS now are dismal.
2.1. Internship: shirk the scut work even at the expense your PG getting angry. Completing some subjects during internship definitely takes some pressure off of you during PG Prep.
