3/ @Ticketmaster has also announced their partnership with @DapperLabs and the @flow_blockchain, using the chain to mint tickets as NFTs.
Besides using NFT technology to ensure authenticity, NFTs also serve as memorabilia and ‘proof-of-attendance’!
4/ @F1 has also registered 2 trademark filings in the US, ahead of 2023’s Grand Prix in Vegas.
The filings mentioned NFTs and crypto offerings for the event next year. Whether this will be collectibles, ticketing or any other uses, remains to be seen👀
5/ In the same vein, luxury brand @Hermes_Paris has also made their trademark filings, covering “virtual goods, digital collectibles and NFTs…for use in online worlds”, hinting at the possibility of virtual Hermès products in the metaverse.
6/ Web2 brands are, and will continue to, make waves in the Web3 world by tapping on the opportunities that Web3 and NFTs can provide to them and their fans.
If you are a Web2 brand looking to do so, why not consider @getpuddle?
3/ But how about the wonderful individuals that make up the team?
For every project under Labs, we form a project pod, pulling in members of Labs from these functional teams, namely:
• Product
• Design
• Tech
• Research
• Community
1/ Last week, we launched Puddle, a tool built on the @flow_blockchain, which enables community builders to easily mint, manage, get insights and engage their community via the use of NFTs.
But, what is $FLOW and perhaps more importantly, WHY $FLOW?
2/ The $FLOW blockchain was first announced in 2019 by the @dapperlabs team and went live on mainnet in 2020.
The @dapperlabs team is also responsible for @CryptoKitties, which created the very first NFT boom back in 2017 (and also famously clogged the Ethereum network)!
3/ Yes! $FLOW and the @dapperlabs team are behind arguably two of the biggest NFT booms, first with @CryptoKitties and then once again with the @nbatopshot NFT collection.
Today, there are 7,000+ developers working on the $FLOW blockchain, with 11M+ registered wallets.
