“There are around 90 Villas here and each family owns at least three luxury cars. Almost all these cars including Bentleys, MINI Coopers, Audis, BMWs, Mercs and Jaguars are submerged" said a resident at DivyaSree East

“There are 87 villas in DivyaSree 77 East and 305 apartments in adjoining 77 Place. All families have been evacuated & there is nobody here.There is no water or power in houses and they could return only after 15-20 days once the electrical panel room is restored"said a resident
Many residents appeared to have shifted their valuables and belongings to the first and second floors before fleeing to safety. Residents themselves have made arrangements in hotels, clubs and houses of relatives and friends.

Residents of gated communities and techies working in IT parks in Yemalur Main Road woke up to a nightmare on Monday morning. Rains on Sunday night caused water to gush into their building premises and basements.Their vehicles were submerged and power had run out in the buildings
