No player has appeared in and won three Super Bowls with three different teams. @VonMiller can change that this year.
After an illustrious career with the @Broncos before joining the @RamsNFL on their #SBLVI quest, the future HOFer starts a new journey tomorrow night. (THREAD)
Von’s success in the NFL hasn’t been a surprise. He earned multiple First-team All-American honors and won the Dick Butkus Award with @AggieFootball.
Denver drafted Miller with the 2nd pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, making him the highest picked Aggie since 2000, at the time.
How would Von fare as a rookie you ask? Well, on his FIRST play in his career, he forced a fumble. (He’d have a knack for forcing fumbles, we’ll get back to that.)
Miller’s stellar rookie season earned him DROY honors.
The 2015-16 season was one to remember for Von and the Broncos.
Remember the forcing fumbles thing? Well, he’d do it again on the biggest stage in Super Bowl 50 - a play that lives on in eternity in Denver.
Ring No. 1 ✅
11+ seasons and eight Pro Bowls later, Miller took his talents out west to join the Rams midseason last year.
In 12 games with LA, Von had nine sacks, including two in the Super Bowl.
Ring No. 2 ✅
No one has the clutch gene quite like Von Miller. He is tied for most career Super Bowl sacks (4.5) in just two appearances.
He became just the second player ever to have multiple Super Bowl performances with multiple sacks.
Now the guy who leads the league in sacks since 2011 is joining the top-ranked defense from last season, the @BuffaloBills.
While Von has ring No. 3 and history on his mind, his season begins in LA for #Kickoff2022 - against the squad he held the Lombardi with in February. 🍿
