St. Petersburg municipal deputies of the Smolninskoye district are planning to send an appeal to State Duma in coming days with a proposal to accuse Putin of high treason because of the war in Ukraine theins.ru/news/254850
So a local St Petersburg outlet posted this story and it’s still on Google cache but gone from the website
Oh damn! Lots of drama. Head of the district, also Acting Chairman of Council of Deputies, said he did not convene and or hold the Sept 7th meet where the draft was written to charge Putin for treason and regards the group of deputies who signed as provocation. Arrests are coming
Latest update. The deputies (not sure if all 7) have been summoned to report to the police station in the morning
And another update. The municipal council of Lomonosov, Moscow also called on Putin to resign

This story looks like an FSB op itself. Since Soviet days KGB infiltrated every aspect of Soviet life to look for dissent & had family members spy on each other. But this puts FSBs main concern of looking for CIA backing which is only part of the story cnn.com/2022/09/07/eur…
Russia’s security services main focus is to secure their own power and to do that they infiltrated opposition parties, created many political parties to create an illusion that Russians have choice, and flood countless propaganda of CIA involvement of anyone who speaks out
The blame of Western involvement and financing goes back to Soviet days and anyone who steps away from official state position is accused of this. It’s also projection of what FSB does. That’s why they infiltrate opposition parties, media, and anything that can influence opinions
The head of the board of directors of Lukoil, Ravil Maganov, died after falling out of a hospital window. interfax.ru/moscow/860208
"This morning Maganov fell out of the window of the Central Clinical Hospital. He died from his injuries," the source said.
I’m sure he had help out the window
How quickly this is breaking in all Russian news 🤨
Russians manage to use death of Gorbachev for propaganda purposes. Putin’s state Duma said he hoped that Gorby repented in his last days, Communist deputy head called Gorby a traitor. Meanwhile Russian media is literally publishing every single condolence statement from the West
I couldn’t understand why they were publishing every statement including from Kremlin enemies like McFaul. I realized they are trying to show that internally he was hated while the West praised him. Makes a clear distinction to Russians when at war with the West
It’s interesting watching this play out. Notably no statement from war criminal Putin yet who blamed Gorbachev for the collapse of his beloved hell hole USSR
At this rate she could also have seen classified docs 🤦🏼♀️
“In addition to the FBI, law enforcement agents in Canada have confirmed that she has been the subject of a major crimes unit investigation in Quebec since February.” Of course
Putin’s motorcade a few hours ago rushed to the Kremlin during late night hours. Similar to what happened last month with the dramatic late night visit. Will keep an eye
