artist Murli said in an interview that he happened to see the Kaviyur branch bulletin where the story of Nangeli was written. he was so rattled by the story that he decided to take this story of brave Ezhava women to the public through his paintings. From 2013 onwards he made 2/n

In 2013 he released his first paintings on Nangeli and in 2016 he conducted an exhibition of his paintings on Nangeli which was reported by Wagabomb ,Times now ans @BBC and the story of Nangeli travelled the world there after .Articles after articles were written followed by 3/n

short films, web series and hundreds of youtube videos. An entire ecosystem of communists together with liberals , feminists Ambedkarites and missionary circle were seen promoting this story of Nangeli.4/n

Now a movie is released in Malayalam #PathombathamNoottandu where Nangeli is shown as a real historical figure who sacrificed fighting for the modesty of women. In fact, in the trailer, Nangeli is shown fighting the upper castes with swords.5/n

Now, where is Chithrakaran Murali? Shouldn't he be rejoicing at the fact that his efforts bore fruits? But he is nowhere to be seen promoting Nangeli or even boasting of his contribution to the entire development instead he is busy creating more fake stories on Ganapati being 5?n

Budha. Any idea why he kept mum on Nangeli Movie? Just imagine how he could have reacted when the original creator of the story, journalist C. Radhakrishnan messaged him with proof that he created this anecdote for a feature story that appeared on 3/8/2007 in Pioneer 6/n

wouldn't that be a reason enough to not continue with the fake narrative on Nangeli especially when that person is on his friend list? Nobody wants to be called a liar in public, right?.so he decided to keep quiet on this topic. Now Director #Vinayan is hell-bent on promoting 7/n
