I'm in Hall D23, ready to live-tweet the MARVEL / LUCASFILM / 20th CENTURY studio showcase. This is my personal main event, so expect lots of all caps and !!! If you want professionalism (and more coverage), read the #D23Expo coverage at @decider !
Oh, yeah, the MCU is now the Madisynn Cinematic Universe. This isn't news, is it? Pretty obvious.
Disclaimer: I make no promises, re: coherence should X-anything be announced. In fact, I may black out, and you may be all on your own for the rest of the panel.
"Hooked On a Feeling" playing now. Cannot wait for Megan Thee Stallion's "Body" to make it into Marvel's canonical playlist.
LIGHTS DOWN!
Presentation starts with the Disney sizzle reel that was shown yesterday before the Disney Studios panel. It's a good hype-up video, what can I say.
Disney Studios chair Alan Bergman is back on stage. "This room is where our biggest fans get an exclusive look at what's coming from our studios." Oh, you better believe it.
Bergman notes that none of the studios from today's presentation were part of Disney back during the first Expo in 2009. Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century are the name of the game today (literally today, Saturday, today's panel)
Lucasfilm is up first???? Not 20th Century?? Oh man, buckle up, we're going into hyperspace.
Here comes Kathleen Kennedy everybody, the boss is in the house! Oh man, a green and blue laser light show accompanies her.
Kennedy: "The last time we were here was 2019, we were debuting the Mandalorian. In just 11 days we're going to launch Andor." Can't wait.
Ahead of the Andor portion, there's a sizzle reel recapping Rogue One. Emotional!
Kennedy calls it a "24-episode spy thriller," with the first 12 premiering in 11 days and production about to roll on the next 12. Kennedy says that Tony Gilroy has brought his Bourne tension into the series.
Welcome Genevieve O'Reilly, Adria Arjona, Kyle Soller, and Diego Luna!
Lunda: "Buenos dias! So nice to be here! We're going back five years before Rogue One and you won't believe where you find this character. You won't believe he's capable of doing what he does in Rogue One. It's the awakening of a revolutionary." #D23Expo
O'Reilly: "You get to fall in love with Cassian Andor all over again. For Mon Mothma, we've seen her as a pillar in the rebellion and this time we get to explore her as a woman trying to navigate the dark shadows of Imperial politics while building a rebellion."
Soller gets to play a character that everyone loves to hate, Kennedy says. Soller: "It's been amazing to be part of the family, but to be a character who is so rounded and complex, there's such a wonderful history of villains you love to hate in Star Wars."
As Bix, Adria has history with Cassian. Adria: "Bix is manager of a sell yard and is about stability, and when you first see her with Andor you think they're opposites, He's anything but stable. She wants to have a normal life. You can feel there is trust that's been broken."
Diego Luna is also an executive producer on the series. Luna: "It's been a wonderful journey because as an actor you're thrown into something already happening, but I got to be there from beginning to end. We're working with the best team."
"This is a 12-episode film, a gigantic film that you will get to enjoy. The work is so rich. I know what's behind every decision and that it's for the best of the show and love of the fans," says Luna.
Diego gives a message to all the Spanish speakers in the crowd which, unfortunately, not me! Even though I took 4 years of Spanish! It did not stick!
Final trailer time!
I'm sure the trailer is dropping soon but, damn, Andor truly looks like the kind of Star Wars show that could only exist after three years of test runs. It feels so big, so dirty, so new, so intense, so raw, so experimental and something you'd never *start* with.
And now it's time for #Willow, and here's Warwick Davis! "The idea that a hero can come from anywhere and against all odds prevail is a powerful one."
Onstage now:
Joanne Whalley
Ellie Bamber
Ruby Cruz
Tony Revolori
Dempsey Bryk
Amar Chadha-Patel
Erin Kellyman
Whalley was proud and happy to return to Willow, and she finally has some scenes with Warwick. Davis points to the poster, which is being premiered now, and the cast is excited. Although none of them remember posing for that photo lol
Kellyman says that the fight scenes are incredibly epic. Bamber adds that her character has a sense of determination. Cruz, her character is the defiant and angsty one. #D23Expo
Tony, aka Flash Thompson!, says stepping on stage was "magical and great, there's gonna be a lot to look forward to." Dempsey says "it was a trip to step on set, because I never thought I'd see knights and then you see 10 of them walk by you and your brain quits."
Amar adds that joining the cast was terrifying, because his cast is full of heroes and legends. There's another cast member here, and he is CHRISTIAN SLATER!
CHRISTIAN SLATER in the HOUSE! He's part of the Willow family now! Slater loves Lucasfilm because "the fantasy, the sci-fi, getting to be part of this show, was a dream come true." Slater grew up watching Warwick Davis and is a bit starstruck.
Christian Slater says he got to improvise on set some, "which was a lot of fun." They joke that Jon Kasdan, the writer, is precious about his words. Who is Christian Slater playing?! We don't know!
Slater was introduced as a "friend" of either Kilmer's or Kilmer's character Madmartigan, since Kilmer couldn't return.
New trailer -- also surely gonna be released soon? Anyway -- it's fun! It's fantasy! And I don't know much about Willow but, I'm in!
Now back to Star Wars. You cannot have a Star Wars presentation without everyone's fave, DAVE FILONI. You love to see him!
Starting with animation and #BadBatch Season 2. "Legacy of Clone Wars continues with Bad Batch," says Filoni, "and we're bringing a new season on January 4, 2023." Two-episode premiere!
There's also the upcoming #TalesOfTheJedi series of shorts, which will tell more of Ahsoka's past and Dooku. Each gets 3 episodes. "All 6 shorts debut at one time on October 26 on Disney+." Trailer time!
Listen the biggest thing about the trailer is

DOOKU
vs
YADDLE

That's all I care about.
Oh man, now we are moving into #AHSOKA live-action territory. Kathleen says that she recognized Filoni had a real talent for narrative and seeing him carry it into live action has been amazing. Filoni's working on Ahsoka right now, was filming yesterday!
Here's JON FAVREAU -- and I think that's a new photo of Ahsoka, cloaked, looking wise and ready, lightsaber drawn.
Favreau: "Last time we were here was before Disney+ had even launched. Since then we aired two seasons and were able to bring in a character Dave had been thinking about doing in live action, back to when he was working on Clone Wars and Rebels."
Favreau: "The idea of introducing her into the show was a way of testing to see if fans wanted to see the character, and the response to Rosario on screen, it let Kathy give us permission to go ahead with the series."
Favreau: "Seeing this come to life with such authenticity, and to see the lightsaber battles come to life, it's amazing action and it's been a treat for me." Another photo of Ahsoka in a dark room, a hole in the ceiling bringing a pillar of light around her.
Filoni talks about the cast, and Filoni was thinking about Dawson to begin with. "She sees all the details we did in animation and it blows my mind." The crew of the show grew up watchign clone wars!
NEW PHOTO OF LIVE ACTION AHSOKA AND SABINE ADMIRING A PIECE OF ART, ONE OF SABINE'S MURALS OF THE GHOST CREW AAAHH
What else are these two working on? Favreau says everyone wants to be working on Star Wars. When you find those people who are super into Star Wars, their eyes light up about the prospect of making some.
When Favreau was in the Spider-Man films -- huge applause for Happy Hogan -- Favreau said director Jon Watts and his co-writer Christopher Ford already had a pitch for a Star Wars series locked and loaded and ready to present.
It's SKELETON CREW time! Welcome Jon Watts and Chris Ford to the stage!
Ford: "Skeleton Crew is a show about a group of kids who get lost in the Star Wars galaxy." Watts says that it takes place during The Mandalorian and Ahsoka era. They're filming it now. One picture! JUDE LAW in Star Wars! He's here!
It's Jude Law smiling in the face of a bunch of those like, orb door greeter robot things like in Jabba's palace, and some kids blurry in the background behind him.
Literally Jude Law just came out and said he's happy he's in it and that's all for Skeleton Crew, lol, the quickest time on stage. Okay!
Oh and what about MANDALORIAN SEASON 3? Let's talk about it! Favreau talks about how the last time they were here, no one knew that Baby Yoda/Grogu existed.
Filoni says this is a great privilege to be able to do this work for all of the fans. "They're so excited by the reaction they get to the hard work they put in to take you to that galaxy."
One of the EPs on Mando s3, he's been on the show since Season 1, and now he's an EP, Rick Famuyiwa! Here he is!
Rick: "This has been a dream of mine since I first saw the film, which was the first film I saw in a movie theater. Star Wars has shaped my life as a person, a filmmaker. I went to USC film school because of George. This has been an incredible full circle moment."
Of course you gotta have some cast members! Here they come -- Emily Swallow, Katee Sackhoff, Amy Sedaris, Giancarlo Esposito, and Pedro Pascal!
AMY SEDARIS IS HERE IN A BLACK DRESS WITH HUGE PINK FLOWERS ON IT AND I LIVE
Pedro runs and hugs Favreau and Kennedy, then Favreau hugs Giancarlo and Amy and Katee and literally a hug fest.
Pedro: "We're realizing it's been such a long time, and our central nervous systems are like oh my god. I wouldn't be here meeting all of these amazing people, you need to go backstage. It's insane! It's exhausting!"
Emily Swallow, the Armorer: "I was having a bit of a freakout, 10 minutes ago was my first time meeting Amy [Sedaris] and she doesn't know I'm freaking out inside."

"I know." says Amy.
Emily wants to make Amy a helmet lol and GIVE PELI MOTTO A HELMET!
Emily: "Those first few episodes when we were trying to find the language of these characters, when we were all helmeted and moving around, what translates are you reading? What emotions? It was really a collaborative effort. I knew with The Armorer, less is more."
Emily's father was in the Army, and growing up the most frightening thing to her was when she knew she did something wrong and she knew he was going to say something, and he said nothing at all. And he just looked at her, her waiting. "That was the most terrifying thing of all."
Kathy throws shade at Emily: "I can see you're making up for lost time being silent" LOL the BURN
Giancarlo Esposito's time to talk and get ready, the man can speak. He loves this show. "You have something I want: passion and wonder for this franchise... If you're here you LOVE Star Wars."
Amy Sedaris time. Oh my god. "They're laughing because I memorize the lines. I don't know what I'm saying. There's nothing, no eyebrows, a mullet, and uncomfortable costume, and Amy improvises and they say 'they don't say that in space.'"
"What about grandpa? 'They say that it space.'" she says. She calls this a "dream come true" even though she can't wear contacts with all the sand.
Katee: "I've played Bo-Katan for almost 10 years of my life. It's one of those things where I never dreamed she would come to be a part of my life, and I'm so grateful to these amazing guys for letting me do this. I'm so excited for you to see this season! It's crazy!"
And now... teaser trailer for Mando Season 3 time. Hold on!!
My gibberish notes scrawled in the dark:

Mando and Baby's crib
flashback to the big boat from season 2
the two of them forming a bond
they are a clan of two
lucasfilm logo
ship in a storm, but he has removed helmet
armorer, you are a mandalorian no more

did you think your dad was the only mando? bo katan asks grogu
howler monkeys in tree

babu fucking frik
peli and r4
Now time for #IndianaJones — what, no Acolyte??? — and here's director James Mangold.
Mangold said he's among a Mt. Rushmore of creative greats making this movie. Harrison and Kathy and Steven came to Mangold and asked him to make the movie. "I saw Raiders in Midvalley Mall in New York and it's one of the reasons I became a film director."
Mangold said he was with John Williams yesterday as scoring is being done on Indy 5.
Oh, here's a PREVIEW!
And here comes HARRISON FORD and PHOEBE WALLER-BRIDGE!
Trailer description gibberish:
Lucasfilm logo
Desert street
motorcylce and car chase
city
sea, mummy undewater
indy teaching
motorcycle chasing a plane on runway
indy in archives
indy saying those days have ocme and gone
discover the adventure
i've come to belive it's not so much what you believe but
this is the 1960s
it's how hard tyou believe it
indy grabbing hat
rain and whips
underwater
indi kicking gun
street cahse
HORSE IN TEH SUBWAY
indy whipping a bunch of people who then pull guns on himand he ducks
Harrison Ford is visibly moved, choked up. "Indiana Jones movies are about mystery, adventure, they're also about heart." He is really having a hard time, he is so moved. "I'm so happy we have a human story to tell and a movie that will kick your ass." #D23Expo
He says this is his last Indy movie. "This is IT. I will not fall down for you again!" And laughs.
Mangold said that Phoebe Waller-Bridge was who he had in mind from the beginning, and they created a great foil for Harrison with her. "I had the time of my life," says Waller-Bridge. "Keeping up with this guy is exhausting! We got to do so many unbelieveble things!"
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is so ecstatic too, giddy. The emotion and love on the stage, it's really fun.
And that's it for Lucasfilm! Okay! JESUS HOW IS MARVEL NEXT????
Are they really overestimating this crowd's interest in AVATAR???
Here is Kevin Feige. So.... hold on, people. If you thought those trailer descriptions were gibberish before.
Feige is annoyed that all the other panels and studios get to do musical numbers. SO Here is a ROGERS THE MUSICAL NUMBER LOL
Oh it is ROCKING in here! EVERY phone is up recording this so, you'll see it from dozens of angles.
Yes this is the entire Hawkeye faux-mini-musical being done on stage at D23 lol there are PERFORMERS in costumes and so many dancers lol
Honestly, though, missed opportunity to bring Megan and Tatiana out to twerk I'm just saying
Here's pickup artist style LOKI and his Chitauri trick or treaters. And now the street clothes Avengers!
My life is weird.
God, what if this was it for their presentation? I'd respect it, honestly.
Feige runs through what they announced at SDCC a few months ago. So... he wants to show us a bunch of stuff.
Ryan Coogler is here! #D23Expo He's editing Wakanda Forever right now.
Coogler: "Earlier this year we showed something at Comic-Con. We couldn't come here without showing y'all something exclusive."
We got a SCENE of Queen Ramonda addressing the UN about the danger of vibranium and it falling into THEIR hands, intercut with footage of some mercs trying to steal vibranium and the Dora Milaje ambushing them and just wrecking shop. Wakanda is NOT defenseless.
Welcome LETITIA WRIGHT, WINSTON DUKE, TENOCH HUERTA, ANGELA BASSETT
Bassett: "It was just an amazing experience, we absolutely look forward to bringing it to you. This is the calm before the amazing storm. The cast, tremendous crew, of course our spirited leader Ryan, and our heart Chadwick who was with us every step of the way."
Huerta: "It was so great and wonderful, of course being with you guys, it was so perfect. When you go to a new country and new culture and industry for me, and be embraced, all this love, to make the best movie ever with a great story, lot of profound respect for cultures."
Huerta says this film is deeper than entertianment and goes beyond.
Duke: "Oh, we are back. We are BACK. I am excited for everyone to see Wakanda after the Infinity War, after the Endgame, after everything. Everything has changed, everything is bigger, better, new. I'm not the most tech inclined character, but the tech? The tech is FUN."
Also the UN scene, Ramonda said something like "I know what you all think, the king is dead, the panther is gone," which is the closest hint of what we have to come.
Wright: "I'm excited for you to see the beautiful story Mr. Ryan Coogler put his heart and soul into. The Wakandan family has expanded. We have so many new characters attached to this franchise. I'm so excited about how impactful this story will be."
Wright: "I'm excited for my bro to look down on us and smile, on November 11."
The Wakanda Forever footage is just MASSIVE and man, I can't wait. Now it's time for RIRI WILLIAMS, IRONHEART TIME!
Coogler said that his production company is partnering with Marvel STudios for Ironheart!
IRONHEART footage! It's halfway through production, and it looks RAD. Anthony Ramos, aka THE HOOD is here. Y'ALL, I love THE HOOD.
Riri Williams saying she ain't building something important, she's building something ICONIC. Yes!
Ramos: "Parker is a complex guy, he almost is like a misfit, and I want to take in other misfits and show the world that you looked at us as outcasts but we're going to end on top. Parker is a deep dive into a dark place, but he believes he's doing good."
Ramos says he's trying to dance around the plot. "Parker kicks ass. I don't know if I can say that but I said it already." Feige cuts him off, and mentions that Hood deals in dark arts while Riri deals in tech. "We've never had the two of these go against each other."
What kicks off Phase 5? Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. "This is a big movie," says Feige. "It goes right into Kang Dynasty." Here's PAUL RUDD, Evangeline Lily, and JONATHAN MAJORS!!!
Jonathan Majors out here in a big black trench and big fedora, leaning into the villainy. And he hugs Feige. I love this.
Feige ribs Paul Rudd about being named sexiest man alive, and Rudd says, "I've met Michael B. Jordan. It's flattering and very very wrong." Majors jokes, "I'm close to Michael and Paul and pretty much the same to me."
Feige asks Majors about being a future sexiest man, Lilly jokes that she's the sexiest man alive, and now Paul Rudd asks the audience how it feels to be the sexiest audience alive.
Now Rudd's doing crowd work: "You've been here since, what, 5 am? More? You drove a whole hour to get here?!" Majors imitates an alarm to wake audience member up. Feige: "Want to know about a movie?"
Rudd: "This is unlike anything you've seen, certainly from Ant-Man and the Wasp. The first movies are near and dear to my heart, and I was so excited to start this thing. This thing is bananas. It seems like an oxymoron that small heroes would do something huge.
Rudd: "This is unlike anything you've seen from us. That guy? [Majors] He's incredible and it throws this whole thing into such new territory. I am really excited. We probably have something, right?"

Yep, just for us!
Bill Murray! As someone in the Quantum Realm who knows Janet Van Dyne!!
Oh, now WEREWOLF BY NIGHT, a Disney+ Halloween special from composer, now director, Michael Giacchino!
Quantumania footage is wild, I think I saw MODOK? Something with a BIG HEAD/FACE? And Kang in a nearly comic accurate look (no helmet but, everything else). Cassie in a super suit!
Giacchino has been wanting to make a movie since he was 10. He went to film school! "I remember as a kid watching these 1930s and 40s horror movies, I loved so much and to be able to show you what we've been up to. I'm excited!"
Cast! Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly!
The Werewolf by Night looks like a 1930s Universal horror movie title card, it's nice.
Feige: "It's a little darker, scarier." Giacchino: "But fun scary, like Poltergeist or Indiana Jones."
It comes out next month. No idea -- is it full length? A short? Here's a trailer at least!
Oh that was RAD. Black and white, VERY vintage, THE SPECIAL LOGO THING AT THE BEGINNING IS LIKE OLD NETWORK SPECIAL PRESENTATION LOGOS!!
Werewolf By Night looks legit. October 7!

Don Cheadle is here!
Two Disney+ shows now -- SECRET INVASION! What can Don say? "I can tell you it will be a lot of fun, great to have Nick Fury be the tour de force that he is and get his own storyline. Lotta cool stuff." The lights are all green now.
They BROUGHT A LITTLE SOMETHING! First trailer!
Tense, thriller! Colman and Clarke look to be playing allies? No clue who!
Secret Invasion leads into Armor Wars! Man, it's the RHODEY Cinematic Universe! Films in 2023, six episodes, and Secret Invasion sets it up.
Secret Invasion, Talos seems to be teamed up with Fury to stop the invasion. Rhodey says he knew about the Skrull threat 15 years ago. Mysteries!
LOKI Season 2 -- TOM HIDDLESTON AND SOPHIA DI MARTINO AND OWEN WILSON ARE HERE!
And Ke Huy Quan is in it! He jokes, "Wait is this not the Indiana Jones panel?" !!!
Tom jokes to Paul and Evangeline, "Good luck with that" regarding Kang. "Don't let him into the TVA."
Hiddleston: "Loki is back in the TVA and Mobius and Hunter B15 don't know who he is. We continue our story, and theres' a new cast of characters in the ever-expanding multiverse."
Wait do they have something to show??? Duh.
MATT SHAKMAN DIRECTING FANTASTIC FOUR!!!
Anyway, Loki season 2 -- Loki in a tuxedo with a 70s style ruffle tuxedo shirt and, come on, yes.
ECHO! Just wrapped filming! FIRST TEASER! Kingpin missing an eye! Black and white footage! All subtitles! Cast is here, Vincent D'Onofrio is here!
Alaqua Cox: "What a journey, only my second role I've ever had. It's so crazy to me. I'm lucky to have amazing costars, who helped me along the way. This is such an amazing feeling! It's great."
K. Devery Jacobs is so excited to see indigenous superheroes. "To work with someone as special as Alaqua, it has just been unbelievable." She shouts out all the interpreters and deaf people who made the show happen.
Cody Lightning loved learning ASL and did not like the Georgia heat. "There's a lot of people here. I thought we were doing this at a Holiday Inn Express conference room!" He works with kids at home, and to share this with all them, "They're all so proud of me."
Chaske Spencer: "I'm excited for people to see Alaqua Cox. She has an amazing screen presence. You can't take your eyes off her."
Graham Greene pulls out his phone to take a pic of audience. "When I got the phonecall, I talked to the director and told my wife we're going to Georgia and I have to learn ASL. My wife said after 42 years it's about time someone got you to shut up."
Graham jokes that all the young cast members are holding the gate open for him and telling him to go out to pasture.
Graham realizes that he can now talk to someone a block away with ASL and no one knows, "You can say whatever to a police officer and he won't know."
Vincent D'Onofio!! What's it like being back? "It's great. I was so impressed by all these people. Amazing talents all of them. To bring Fisk and Maya back together again was a thrill. I saw Alaqua's capabilities when we did Hawkeye but I didn't know the extent of her talent."
Fisk teases lots of crazy one on one scenes between her and Alaqua. Feige has us all cheer in ASL and Alaqua is so touched.
OH my god Vincent has stayed ON STAGE OH MY GOD
DON'T DO THIS TO ME
CHARLIE COX IS HERE OH MY GOD HE IS SO HANDSOME OH MY GOD
This is the FIRST TIME Feige has stood with the two of them together!
Cox says it's really emotional, and weird to have been doing this a while and being brand new. They start filming next year. OH MY GOD My emotions!
DD IN SHEHLK
OH MY GOD MATT AND JENNIFER OH MY GOD THEM TOGETHER OH MY GOD IT'S SO GOOD OH MY GOD
IT LOOKS LIKE DD IS TEACHING SHE-HULK HOW TO BE A HERO AND I AM DYING OH MY GOD THERE IS SEXUAL TENSION OH MY GOD
IT IS SO FUNNY
Captain America: New World Order will bring back TIM BLAKE NELSON as the Leader AND introduce the mutant (at least in the comics) superhero Sabra, played by Shira Haas!
Mackie's nickname for Tim Blake Nelson is "Nasty Tim." Danny Ramirez is back for the movie. Is he gonna get wings in this movie??
Carl Lumbly back: "It feels great being anywhere. Being here is just stunning because sometimes you don't know what to ask for, and sometimes something is handed to you and you think that's wonderful, it won't happen again. Now here we are."
Tim Blake Nelson as Leader fulfills a 14 year old promise. "I'm delighted. That I get to be part of that is an absolute honor. Thank you for sticking with The Leader."
Feige says Sam finds himself in a world without Avengers, but is there a group of superheroes in the MCU? And they are the Thunderbolts. Not the X-Men. OKay, introducing the Thunderbolts!
YOUR THUNDERBOLTS

Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Contessa)
David Harbour (Red Guardian)
Hannah Jon-Kamen (Ghost)
Wyatt Russell (US Agent)
Olga Kerleynko (Taskmaster)
Florence Pugh (Black Widow)
SEBASTIAN STAN ??!!?
(where is daniel bruhl tho)
Louis-Dreyfus: "I have to say when Feige called and said my character's name, I said 'You had me at Contessa.'"
Harbour, what a hunk! Powder blue suit! Perfect! "I love this team! I love the Marvel Universe! I love Red Guardian and my beloved Yelena!"
John-Kamen: "It's good to be back. Thank you for having me back and I can't wait."
Russell: "I'm excited as the most boring Avenger over at Disney. It will be super exciting. You got a great team of people and we're going to make something awesome."
Stan: "These are my kinds of people. They look like a good troubled bunch and I know a thing or two about that. Glad to be back and join a team of sorts."
Thunderbolts starts filming in early 2023
THE MARVELS! Director Nia DiCosta, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, and Brie Larson are here!!!
Brie Larson in a POWER SUIT like a Carol Danvers BOSS
Vellani is "having trouble breathing today!" lol Feige says she is a bigger fan than any of us. "And we regret it only slightly" lol
Parris: "It's been amazing! Monica got some powers or something so we'll see how those pop off in the Marvels!"
Larson: "It's incredible. I had an amazing time with these beautiful women inside and out and to have a team! I have a team!"
Nia: "My favorite part other than being a part of the MCU is accosting Feige with 17 more movie pitches every time I see him."
THAT TRAILER FOR MARVELS WAS VERY GOOD
VERY FUNNY. THE THREE OF THEM SWAP PLACES WHENEVER THEY USE THEIR POWERS. IT IS VERY FUNNY AND GREAT.
Okay now we have 20th Century and we are 35 minutes over time and I have a shuttle to LAX in 90 minutes lol can we wrap
James Cameron is live via Zoom Skype from New Zealand, finishing filming on Avatar Way of Water.
James Cameron introduces the cast of Way of Water. I'm sorry if I'm distracted about uh .... my flight lol
Stephen Lang is back. Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana's characters have become parents for this film.
Okay, here's some scenes from Avatar. And they're handing out 3D glasses to everyone, now?? No, surely not!
Oh my god they're going to hand out 3D glasses to 7000 people before showing this trailer
I declined. Now, everyone finds out what happens when a journalist starts to panic about not getting lunch or to file stories and maybe miss a shuttle to an airport over an avatar trailer lol
They showed six scenes. Almost 15 minutes of Avatar. I feel like I'm in a fever dream.
Okay Bye!!
And here's this -- my shuttle to LAX is literally waiting for me!

I'm at #D23Expo and about to experience the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony. Maybe I'll live tweet it right here? And maybe you can read further coverage on @decider (once I get it written, that is)?
@decider Hell yeah, pre-show mix in Hall D23 includes the full Love Victor theme. What a bop.
And here we go -- we got a video of Mickey himself strolling up to the convention center. And of course who does he see? Bob Chapek. Mickey and Bob, they're pals in real life!

Saying "The Force Awakens" was JUST "A New Hope" over again also kinda says that you don't see the importance of women and POC as leads...
Like, Rey and Finn and Poe being the CENTER of the story fundamentally makes it a totally different experience than "A New Hope."
You can say that the plot is similar, sure, but to say that TFA has no value or was just a rehash is...not a good take.
