This thread and a few threads before may sound ... A bit out there ... But the context was , i faced an electricity cut where we were a few hours ago and it was 30 - 35 C (90 to 95F) at 12 am in the morning ...
I was physically miserable... Yes climate breakdown is real ...

But i did acknowledge that this is how people lived like 100 / 200 years ago .... In complete darkness and no way to contact people (if they were not super wealthy) ... Our ancestors took us from f--king literal darkness in life / social structure / peace you name it , to here

And we sit around being cynical ... ???We must absolutely do #Peaceisahumanright

We must absolutely create a world where everyone has the basic necessities and means to live a peaceful dignified life

People a 100/200 years before didn't even have electricity& they still gave us this world .... We have the internet, connectivity and now a remote working world .... We can & must use our humanity 2 the fullest and help our next generations realize a future we can't even think of

Humane treatment isn't a socialist or communist or capitalist idea ... I subscribe to neither of the three and the authors of all three **theories** will let you know ..

We all need basic shit to live and be treated with respect , period ...

In full transparency i have always believed that every child of God deserves access to the very best that they can get in this once in 4ever opportunity called life ...even before i learnt to talk properly. I have seen the TON of effort put into bringing a child into this world.

The effort that i dont see being talked about or acknowledged but i have seen it ... I have seen it from Gynaecs , Pediatricians , Nurses , Hospital staff , Home care workers , House workers , Educators , Researchers , Social workers , Legal Advocates , Govt staff etc
