The Minter Token smart contract allows developers to read minter status, directly on-chain, to unlock allowlist + #gated experiences for your minters using #Solidity, without having to rely on signatures or third-party APIs for your front/back-end.

To make interfacing with the Minter Token easy from any smart contract, we’ve prepared a repo for you, so that you can import the Minter Token interface code directly into your project ⬇️

Interfacing with the Minter Token contract is easy. Like when interacting with any external smart contract, all you have to do is create an instance within your code. The smart contract address for the Minter Token is 0x9600F1198EAA8AD159c81cA804B27EB12C790441.

Let’s talk about which functions you can call from the Minter Token smart contract to unlock utility:

viewMinterCount

Check whether a wallet address minted an NFT off your smart contract, and, if they did, how many NFTs they minted.

viewDiamondHands721

Check if a wallet address did not just mint an NFT off your ERC721 smart contract, but if they are also diamond hand’ing your collection until today.

viewDiamondHands1155

Same as above, but for ERC1155s! And, if you’d like to tier based on which token they minted off your ERC1155: we support that too!

viewTokenProvenance

Returns the original contract to which a Minter Token points to. Allow for gating at a token, and not a balance, level.

If you’re getting creative on your front/back-end, the Minter Token metadata on IPFS provides more details on the exact provenance of the token itself.
