#omigiri angst prompt, sparks of #omigirin 👀
(i will complete these prompts if it's the last thing i do)

Osamu snapped his head up from where he was absentmindedly scrolling on his phone.

"What's wrong?"

Kiyoomi wouldn't look him in the eye.
They had just gotten home from lunch with Atsumu and Suna. Osamu flopped straight onto the couch to just do nothing for a little while, and his boyfriend didn't take long to sit next to him with a book.

Osamu wasted no time reaching out with his free hand to
trace his fingers through Kiyoomi's tattoos, as he often did when they were enjoying some downtime together.

Only his boyfriend had just shoved his hand away.

"Why would you think something is wrong?"
Osamu fucking hated that tone. For someone who used to just throw hands with his brother for the most minor of inconveniences, he was not at all used to dealing with Kiyoomi's passive aggressiveness.

He tried reaching out again. "Kiyo, don't give me that shit. What's wrong?"
Kiyoomi jerked away this time. And that... somehow felt worse.

"What the hell is up with you?"

He couldn't think of anything he might've done wrong. Things were just fine this morning, and lunch with his brother and Suna went like it always did.
"Kiyoomi."

He was anxious, sure. And probably not helping the situation by being insistent. But as far as he was concerned, his boyfriend had no reason to ignore him like this.

He finally got a reaction.

Kiyoomi snapped his book shut, turning his venomous gaze to him.
"How long have you been in love with Suna?"

Osamu felt his jaw dropping, and his eyes bulging out of his face. He couldn't even formulate words to that. Of all things he could imagine to be bothering Kiyoomi, that was not one of them. "Wh- What?
Where the fuck did you get that idea?"

Kiyoomi scoffed. "You really thought I wouldn't notice, Osamu? With you eyefucking him today on top of everything else?"

What?

"Again, what the fuck are you talking about?"

Kiyoomi ignored him. "I don't appreciate being a placeholder."
Osamu threw his hands to the air in frustration. "Kiyoomi, I have legitimately no clue of what you're talking about! Do you even hear yourself right now? Suna's just my fucking friend."

"Really, now." Kiyoomi scoffed again.
"If he's 'just' a friend, why is he the first person you call when something happens at the store? If he's 'just' a friend, why do you keep track of his stats just as much as you do mine and Atsumu's? If he's 'just' a friend, why do you plan every single outing we have according
to what he likes best?"

Osamu kept staring and Kiyoomi drove his point home.

"You look at him how you look at me. So tell me, Osamu. How can he really be 'just' a friend?"
Kiyoomi no longer looked angry. He looked bitter.

Osamu fought to get past the lump in his throat.

"I don't- This is just how we've always been, Kiyo. I love you." He made sure to emphasize the last word.

His boyfriend seemed to be assessing him.
"I really should've seen this earlier. I wish you would've just told me."

Osamu felt so frustrated he could feel his eyes burning. "There's nothing to tell, Kiyoomi. I'm in love with you. I want this, us."

"But you also want him."

He opened his mouth, but stopped himself.
He let his eyes wander down to the smokes decorating Kiyoomi's arms.

He should deny it.

Hell, he never thought about wanting anything with Suna.

They'd always been close, sure, but Osamu had never been the best at understanding his own feelings.
That's one of the reasons Kiyoomi was perfect for him. Blunt, direct. He came up to Osamu when they met again at college and stated his interest in him with no fuss.

Osamu had jumped into the chance of getting to know him more, and couldn't be more grateful that he did.
Their relationship was amazing. They had just the right amount of snark between them to keep things interesting, and seemed to share a pretty reasonable braincell most of the time.

So he should deny it.

He and Kiyoomi were happy.

And Suna...
Osamu never stopped to notice how much he truly did for Suna. What Kiyoomi said was true, he always thought of him first when deciding what they should do for a long weekend.

He enjoyed the other man's company, and wanted him to enjoy his in return.
He couldn't lie to himself and say he would mind spending more time with him.

Fuck, how did he not notice?

He felt a stubborn tear making its way down his cheek before he came up with a response.

Osamu anxiously wiped it away, and looked at Kiyoomi's eyes once more.
"I don't want to lose you, Kiyoomi."

But he wouldn't lie to him either.

His boyfriend's dark eyes gave away nothing of what he could be feeling.

After what felt like an eternity, he sighed and closed his eyes. When he opened them, they were something gentler.
He cupped Osamu's cheek, and the man almost cried in relief at feeling that touch.

"You didn't know."

It wasn't a question, but Osamu shook his head anyway.

"I think we should talk to Wakatoshi." Kiyoomi suggested. "Get him to steal Atsumu away from lunch for a few weeks."
It took him a while, but when Osamu finally figured out what he was saying, his eyes widened.

"You want to-"

"I'm terrible at sharing" Kiyoomi interrupted him. "But I think I could learn. For you."

Osamu pinched his own arm.

The sting was as surprising as it was exhilarating.
Okay, he thought to himself.

They were really doing this.

Mama Miya strikes again.
skts strangers au

"'M happy fer Samu, Ma. I really am," Atsumu plays with the dessert on his plate with his spoon. "But he's insufferable now tha' he's hitched! Can't have a conversation with the loser without feelin' like shit 'bout my own love life."
"Hm," his Ma has her "you don't wanna hear what I have to say about this" face on.

"What?"

And like the godless woman she is, she says "Ya know thas' yer own fault, dear."

"Ma!" Atsumu whines.

Her hands raise up in surrender.
"'M sorry, baby, but 's true. Ya keep waiting fer things ta happen ta ya, but ya never actually do anything about it."

"Yer terrible at the pep talk thing," Atsumu deadpans.

"When have I ever coddled ya?" Mama Miya scoffed. "Ya know 'm right, like tha' time with the bartender-"

Miya Twins, Osamu is a good dad, Atsumu is a good brother

The twins had always been competitive, that's no secret. So it was only natural that when Osamu had little Kane, the two would jab about who the kid loved more.

It was all fun and games, and it mostly just amused the kid
He would giggle at their bickering, and oscillate in who he wanted to hug first when asked.

But today was different.

Kane was upset with Osamu. Really, truly upset.

And in the fashion of any four-year-old who didn't know better, he hurt his dad back.
Kane was going through a bit of a rioting phase, and getting frustrated with the amount of times his dad was telling him "no."

Or worse, telling him what to do.

Kane was a big boy now, so why did his dad insist on telling him when to eat, when to shower, when to everything?

"Ya want some?"

Kiyoomi jerks his head to look at the guy sitting next to him on the train.

The guy is holding out a half-eaten chocolate bar.

He scowls. "If this is your way of saying I look like shit and probably need that more than you, no thank you."
"Wow," the guy pulls the sweet offering back, biting into the chocolate. "Tha' was actually me sayin' yer so hot I'm willing to share my I-had-a-really-bad-fuckin'-day treat with ya. But fuck ya too, I guess."

"Oh," Kiyoomi gives the guy a once over.
He looks like he had just as shit of a day as him.

"Sorry," he mumbles.

The guy is already facing away from Kiyoomi, but shrugs acknowledgingly.

Kiyoomi catches a glimpse of the chocolate wrap. "Are those the ones with rice crisps?"

"I told you to stop engaging with officials. Goddamit, Atsumu! What is wrong with you?"

"Omi, Wakatoshi is not like that-"

"You don't know what he's like. You should know better than to fucking trust him."

"Kiyoomi!"
He pauses at the use of his name. It sounds wrong coming from Atsumu's mouth.

Atsumu takes his hands. "Omi, Wakatoshi said he can get us out of here. For good. Take us away from this mess, so we don't have to hide anymore."

"Atsumu," Kiyoomi's headache gets worse by the second.
"I know, Omi," Atsumu squeezes his hands harder. "I know, okay? But ya gotta trust me."

Kiyoomi fights the urge to shake his head. It's the rest of the fucking world he doesn't trust.

"I know I haven't known Wakatoshi long, but if there's even a chance,

"If we get caught I'm blaming you" but make them pirates 👀

Osamu should know better.

He really should. This is exactly the type of mess growing up with Atsumu should have prepared him for.
Alas, it only takes one pair of puppy eyes and a well-placed hand on his waist to render him stupid.

They were not supposed to be here. They were certainly not supposed to be here with Motoya of all people.

If they were caught it'd be at the price of Osamu and Rintarou's heads.
No matter what story Motoya told, all they would see is two dirty pirates corrupting the too-good son of a rich ass.

He should really know better.

"Ay, Samu!" Rin called from where he was snooping in a huge walk-in closet. "Check this out."

He pulled out a long silky robe.

Happy Birthday #MiyaTwins ✨
// hs era, allergies

The twin's 17th birthday was spent in the hospital.

The memory might have become lighter as they grew older, but it was easily the most stressful day of Osamu's life.

Because you see, he had a plan.
Osamu was going to make their dinner, as he did most often than not these days, get them some moshi cake, and make sure Atsumu was in the best of moods.

The next day, he would tell him.

He doesn't even think it will be that hard. Contrary to popular belief, Atsumu isn't stupid.
He noticed how much time Osamu spent in the kitchen.

He noticed him doing less on the court, and called him out on it.

He asked him what was going on. Multiple times.

Osamu told him the truth, that he wasn't ready to talk about it.
