⚡️ German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a 1.5-hour telephone conversation about the Russian war against Ukraine and its consequences, reports an official of the German government Steffen Hebestrite.
Scholz called on Putin to find a diplomatic solution as soon as possible, based on a cease-fire, full withdrawal of Russian troops and respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
He stressed that any further steps of Russia’s annexation would not go unanswered and would not be recognized under any circumstances.
