I don't believe in primogeniture. I don't think the role of Head of State should automatically pass from one person to another in a democracy purely on the basis of birthright. I think the press, establishment and prevailing mood in this country prevent people from saying this.
Unfortunately saying such a basic thing in the present climate feels like an act of treason.
There was no pause. No moment to consider what we did next. The "this is what we do in this country" argument doesn't wash with me. It's wrong.
So respectful. So meaningful. So totally unstaged and deeply sincere. Who hasn't got someone else to hold the camera and film them when they're having "quiet reflection" ?
It's called pareidolia - the brain is wired to recognise faces so sometimes we see them where there are none. It's an evolutionary thing although at times of 'big events' people are more susceptible to it.
But if you really want a freaky coincidence then the reason I can tell you all of this is that right now I am literally writing about all of the above. Sppoooooky huh
A shower of idiots have descended on my timeline in last 48 hours. Strong showing from people who bought my book, were disappointed that it wasn't as biased as they thought it was - and thus sought to seek out tiny inconsistencies within. Like being assaulted with eider down.
I'm knee deep in research for something else and vert much hoping to pass such people off even more at some point
