/“Cardinal Timothy Dolan was directed in early 2021 to investigate claims against retired Albany Bishop Howard Hubbard, who has been accused of multiple instances of sexual abuse against minors” (child r*pe) > pillarcatholic.com/new-york-archd…
/“and who admitted last year that he transferred several priests to new parish ministries without contacting police, after they were accused of sexual abuse.”
/“A woman who claims she was sexually abused by Hubbard and other priests while she was a teenager attempted to subpoena archdiocesan records of the Vos estis investigation into Hubbard, which amount to more than 1,400 pages,”
/The NY Archdiocese claims these records are for internal (church) investigations only.
This is what Roman Catholic dioceses in the US have been doing for decades: holding onto potential evidence, claiming to have conducted impartial investigations, fake “clearing” pursuant
/to judgements presided over by their brother bishop friends, releasing sex offenders, putting their name on de facto exonerated priests lists & reassigning them.
/It is likely that most bishops running dioceses in US have facilitated child r*pe & have escaped justice. Currently they maintain a cover-up, while obstructing justice in these cases in any way possible.
/They use high end attorneys for this. The retainer $$ comes in great part from parish donations. Bishops like Dolan, who have obstructed justice in these cases should not be running anything.
/ The best hope I can envision, for justice, might involve a trial in the International Courts (child trafficking, torture) or in US, RICO — tax fraud/ money laundering & child trafficking.
