🇺🇦🇷🇺🧵 Many don't know what happened in Ukraine before February 2022.
Let me help you in the next tweets (not necessarily chronological order)
1) March 18th 2014. Crimea holds a referendum in which a large majority (93+%) vote for joining Russia.
I often hear the people were forced or the military presence influenced the voting. This footage tells me the reality is quite different.
2) April 27th, 2014. Lugansk declared being a sovereign state.
Always keep in mind these people were born and raised there, in the "old" Russia. They didn't ask to become part of Ukraine. They have a Russian culture and traditions, what's wrong with that?
Part 1
3) Lugansk People's Republic declare state sovereignty. I see lots of joyful people with Russian flags. These are ordinary people just wanting to live their lives and be able to speak their own language.
Would you agree if your government would force you to use another language?
4) April 13th. 2014. Oleksandr Turchynov launches the "anti terrorist operation" against the "separatists" as they are conveniently called. Do these people look like terrorists? Even the ordinary military clearly had problems fulfilling their tasks.
5) From that moment the people of the Donbass were declared enemies. Let's look at what they thought of it. Keep remembering this was long before February 2022! For 8 long years these people have been subjected to the Kiev regime terror.
6) Ordinary people that saw their lives being ruined. Their cities being destroyed. Till the point they don't know how to continue. Is this a democracy?
7) The WW2 Saur Mogila monument in southern Donetsk was destroyed by uitslapen Ukrainian military in September 2014. This lady was born in a camp in Germany during American bombardments is furious about the Ukrainian fascists.
8) On April 25th. 2019, after several attempts the Ukrainian Verchovna Rada finally managed to ban the Russian language, the law says that the only language that can be used in all spheres of life is the Ukrainian language.
9) May 2nd 2014, Odessa. Angry crowd attacks peaceful protesters outside the union building. The crowd set the building on fire after the protesters flee inside.
10) Odessa. The ones trying to escape the fire or jump out the windows are being shot at or beaten to death.
No investigation has ever been conducted and nobody was held responsible or brought to justice.
11) May 11th, Donetsk People's Republic declares independence.
12) May 9th, 2014 Mariupol. Extreme right Azov battalion sets fire to a police station. More than 100 people die. Part 1
13) Part 2. Petro Symonenko speaks the truth in the Parlament but he is being blocked by interim president Oleksandr Turchynov.
14) June 2nd 2014. Ukrainian planes bomb the Lugansk city centre were civilians are totally caught by surprise. I left the extremely gore part out...
But exactly that shows what the Kiev regime is capable of. This was a deliberate attack on ordinary civilians.
15) Of the president of your country would address you in this way. Would you accept or resist? We are that the people of Crimea understood very quickly this was not their government. I don't think these people needed any force to vote for joining Russia.
16) Poroschenko didn't pay pensions to the "separatists". Who came to their rescue? The "evil" Putin.
17) Though the story in West was that Putin had annexed Crimea and would suppress all minorities there, what they didn't report is that Putin enacted a law that rehabilitated all minorities ever deported from Crimea, the have all the rights and right of compensation.
18) Want to know more? Watch the 2 documentaries were these fragments were taken from :
A) live and die in Donbass
19) I have to add the way Ukrainian citizens treat each other in this wonderful democracy.
Not taking sides is enough to get wrapped onto a lamppost.

I have to get more info the habit of checking my tweets before sending them. 🙄. So forget about the "uitslapen" word loll
Again I should read my tweets before sending them 🙄. The "We are that" part should not have been part of this tweet. Sh... Happens when you're in a hurry and have lots of stuff at your hands
20) If people tell you the Russians are murderous bastards. Show them this thread, which paints a very different picture.
22) Even mainstream media television (German WDR) reported back in 2014 that Ukrainian troops were shelling civilians and that we as Europe should not accept this.
24) Ukraine Crisis - What You're Not Being Told (2016)
Source and full video :
25) Mariupol 2014.
Do you think this war started in February 2022?
26) Let's not forget the promise the West made to Russia not to move NATO one inch further to the east, after Gorbatsjov decided to give back the occupied part to Germany for reunification. A very nice gesture.
And what did the West do? Break their promise after only 6 years.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇩🇪🧵 I want to add a German news edition (Tagesthemen) from 2014 reporting on Ukraine. Back then MSM still did some independent and critical reporting.
Strange how they all suddenly seemed to have change their minds.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸🧵 Oleg Anatolyevich Tsaryov in Ukrainian Parlament, predicting the war and U.S. involvement - November 2013
November 2013, days before the EuroMaidan protests started. A deputy denounces in the Ukrainian Parliament that the United States is preparing a civil war in Ukraine, and that alleged "NGOs" are organising a coup from inside the US Embassy in Kiev.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵 Let me also show you the real reason for the Russian intervention in Ukraine, that goes back to 2014.
So you can see that it certainly wasn't just an unprovoked attack.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵 I also want to point to some other interesting threads to put the Russia - Ukraine war in the right context. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
A collection of my most relevant / important threads / tweets explaining the Russia - Ukraine war. All in one spot for easy RT.
🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵Large pro-Russia rally in Bakhmut (then and now Artyomovsk), March 1, 2014. The people were demanding a referendum, after the Kiev government was "Nulandized",(referring) to Victoria Nuland.
They refused to accept the illegitimate US puppet regime and the degradation of their basic human and democratic rights.
A feature of ultranationalist, quasi-fascist ideology is the persecution of ethnic minority "racial impurities". Not long after this rally, the people of the city were brutally suppressed by the illegitimate US Maidanist regime.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵 Back in 2014 Ukrainian soldiers were shooting into the homes of civilians in East Ukraine.
Their mission was to spread terror and crush any dissent against the CIA backed coup in Kiev.
This is something the Western mainstream media should be telling you.
But they won't....

🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵 What has Ukrainian aggression done to Donbass?
'They target civilians, not so much military targets. And that is pure terror'. Blogger from Netherlands Ronald van Amerongen witnessed the Donbass conflict for himself.
According to him, Ukrainian aggression brought to the people of Donbass death, injury and the destruction of homes. Watch about the victims of the conflict, people who have suffered at the hands of Ukrainian war criminals, in our video.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🧵 Exactly nine years ago, Alexander Zakharchenko (at that time the head of state and Prime Minister of the Donetsk People's Republic) invited president Petro Poroshenko (at that time they president of Ukraine) to Donetsk to pick up the flag left behind at the airport by the Ukrainian Nazi battalions:
- “We removed this flag from Donetsk airport. If they come to us with the same thing, the fate of those boys is sad: almost all of them will die.”
🇮🇱🧵 Israel’s Unpunished War Crimes in Gaza and Beyond
When Russia kills civilians as collateral damage, the West screams.
When Israel burns children alive, bombs UN workers, starves 2 million, they cheer, support it, and jail protesters.
The moral decay of the West is absolute.
Here's a list of Israel’s war crimes 👇
1. The Murder of Hind Rajab
A 6-year-old girl, Hind Rajab, begged for her life after Israeli tanks slaughtered her family.
When paramedics tried to reach her, Israeli forces bombed the ambulance too, murdering the rescuers.
Hind was later found burned inside the car with multiple gunshot wounds
Monstrous cruelty.
🧵 Secrets Behind Symbols You Use Every Day!
(thread ahead)
You see @, &, $ every day, but their origins are wild! From ancient scribes to Viking kings, these symbols hide epic stories. Let’s unpack their secrets in this thread. Buckle up! 🧵👇
1/9: The Ampersand (&)
The & symbol, meaning "and," was born in ancient Rome over 2,000 years ago. Scribes, tired of writing "et" (Latin for "and"), squished the letters into a curly shape.
By the 1800s, kids reciting the alphabet called it "and per se and," which slurred into "ampersand." Fun fact: it was once the 27th letter of the English alphabet!

👮🧵 Unmasking Romeo's: The Undercover Cops Who Turn Peaceful Protests Violent
thread
"Ever wonder who starts fights at peaceful Dutch (and Belgian) protests? Meet the Romeo's, undercover cops meant to keep order. But I’ve seen them beat people and spark chaos to shut protests down. Let’s uncover the truth. 👇
#RomeosExposed
#ProtestTruth"
1/11: Who Are the Romeo's?
Romeo's are undercover police officers in the Netherlands, part of the Mobile Unit’s Arrest Team. They don’t wear uniforms, so they’re supposed to blend into crowds at protests or big events. The police say they’re specially trained to handle tense situations quietly, like spotting someone dangerous and taking them out without making a scene. Sounds like a good plan, but that’s not the whole story.
Here’s the thing: Romeo's are meant to be anonymous, but they’re easy to spot. They look like the troublemakers they’re supposed to stop, big guys in hoodies, always with scarves or masks covering their faces. They move in packs, and their vibe screams "trouble." So much for undercover. Too often, these guys seem to be the ones causing the trouble, not stopping it.
Below 2 examples
First Malieveld where Romeo's jump out of a police van to start chaos and even push a women in front of another police van.
Second a peaceful Palestine protest that is being raided by one or more Romeo's.
🇾🇪🧵 Yemen Unmasked: What the West Misses About a Remarkable Nation
thread
🇾🇪🧵Let’s dive into Yemen more than war, resilient, vibrant, honorable. The West sees chaos, misses coffee’s birthplace, poets, dreamers, rich honey, old pride. This is the real Yemen, thriving beyond Western blind spots. 👇
1) Yemen’s People: A Spirit the West Can’t Grasp
Yemenis 34.7 million strong are a force of nature the West barely understands. They’re not just “war victims”; they’re proud Arabs with a lineage tied to the Queen of Sheba, masters of survival who farm arid lands and fish vibrant seas.
Tribal ties bind them closer than any government, a network of loyalty Western analysts dismiss as “backward.” Poets recite in Sanaa’s alleys, silversmiths hammer art in markets while the West fixates on drones, Yemenis live with joy and grit the headlines miss.
Surprise Twist: The West sips Yemen’s legacy daily coffee from Mocha yet couldn’t place it on a map.
🧵 Operation Gladio, NATO’s Secret Cold War Army
thread
Did you know that a secret NATO army bombed civilians to stop communists? In 1972, an Italian operative confessed, “I did it,” exposing Gladio’s dark Cold War plot. Hidden weapons, coups, and terror, this thread uncovers its shocking story. Read on for the truth 👇
2) The Peteano Attack
On May 31, 1972, in Peteano, Italy (a small, quiet town with humid air), three police officers approached an old Fiat 500 reported as suspicious.
One touched the hood, and *bam* an explosion ripped them apart, leaving blood and chaos behind. Newspapers quickly blamed the Red Brigades, a communist group, as fear of the left was common then.
Years later, in a courtroom, Vincenzo Vinciguerra, a neo-fascist tied to Gladio, spoke calmly: “I set the bomb to hurt the left and scare people.” His words pointed to Operation Gladio, a secret NATO project that began decades earlier.
