A clip from the movie "Tantura" of the 1948 war veteran,Amitzur Cohen, was heavily featured all over media as the central evidence there was a "massacre and mass rape" of innocent Palestinian villagers by the Jewish troops,
Does it really?
>>>
In the last, unedited, interview Amitzur Cohen did before passing,
He tells the full story of what actually happened in Tantura,
(From 1:32:35)
What he described isn't what the heavily edited movie version tries to tell
>>>
Before the battle, the Jewish troops called to surrender, the Arabs refused,
During the fight, the Arabs waved a white flag and raised hands,
The Jewish troops stopped firing,
But it was a trap, and their commander was killed

Quick 🧵 debunking another stupid "debunking" attempt by @muhammadshehad2 ,
The Arab armies prepared an invasion and sent arms and volunteers to fight the Jews long before Deir Yassin or even when one Palestinian Arab was displaced
>>>
The Jordanian-Jewish collusion conspiracy was debunked long ago, Jordan not only attacked areas inside the promised Jewish state, it did so even months before the official Arab invasion
Ahad Ha'am warns in this article that buying land without planning in the long term may cause conflict with the Arabs, therefore he suggested to reach understanding and peace with them in advance

35 years for the first intifada
The intifada started with a lie - a blood libel that a car accident was a deliberate murder
over 160 Israelis and 1,000 suspected Palestinian collaborators were murdered
Israeli civilians were attacked with rocks, knives, axes, and Molotov cocktails. In one case, “an Israeli mother and her three children burned to death” when “youths hurled five gasoline bombs at a passenger bus near the West Bank town of Jericho and flames engulfed the vehicle.”
On another occasion, 16 died after a bus was driven into a ravine: “Several of the victims were burned to death, while others were crushed,” reported journalists on the scene, as a rescuer found “something black that just a few minutes ago was a human being.”

***to whom Herzl would've voted for? ***
Translation of @harari_yuval
In 1902 Herzl published his known book "Altneuland," in which he predicted the State of Israel, and described in detail how it will be. We all heard of the book, but what did it actually tell?
The plot of the book deals, among other things, with an imaginary election campaign, in which a populist party led by Rabbi Geyer calls for the deprivation of citizenship of all non-Jews...
Herzl denounces Rabbi Geyer as a racist, and Herzl's character says at the fateful election rally that Geyer's path will bring disaster to the land, that human rights should not be denied...
