It was supposed to be one time only.

Having lost their parents early, JYL and JC had a deep bond between them.

So when YL asked JC for that favor he couldn't say no.

A Beta and Alpha pairing made it hard for JYL and JZX to conceive.

He on the other hand found out - from annual physical exams done for omegas- that he has unsually high fertility as a male omega.

He had even gotten a lot of propositions before from Alphas but his disdain with them stopped any advances.

But now this "gift" of him could help.

He and his sister talked one day, a few years after her marriage with the Jin.

JC was happy to see YL. And happier to see her utterly loved and content even if it was due to that prick.

And he looked humble when together with YL, they asked if he could surrogate for them.

It was a bit jarring but he knew his lovely sister wanted a family of her own. And he knew she would rather concieve on her own, he's seen them trying for very long.

And she'd been supporting her alone since they were children. JC would be honored to help her.

It was a very medical procedure. The embryo was implanted in him and the three were glad when it worked.

The doctors told them that it formed and JC was now carrying his new niece/nephew.

He was then temporarily relocated to the couple's home during the pregnancy.

Being pregnant was very hard. Mood swings, cravings and the aches that comes.

But his sister was with him. Even JZX was very good to him during that period. He shared every milestone with them.

And he felt even more connected to their family as the pregnancy progress.

They even made a gender reveal party. The siblings making the cake together while JC filled it with fillings. He's the one who knew the gender.

And he was glad watching the married couple slice into the cake and saw the blue icing.

Jin Ling was the name they picked out for him.

Giving birth was not easy. Even harder for male omegas.

But he pushed through. And with bleary eyes he saw tufts of hair and a heard JL's first cry.

He smiled tiredly at his sister and JZX who was thanking him profusely.

He carried JL for the first time and he was in love.

Sorry I need to go to work. I will be back. I'll try to write during lunch break. 😭

The married couple offered him an apartment near them so he can see Jin Ling often.

He would babysit his little nephew while JYL tend to her bakery below their aprtment building. JZX owning the whole building.

A few days later after the birth, he met the new grandparents.

The Jins were as arrogant as he remembered them when his parents were still alive.

Well at least Madam Jin was lovely when it came to her grandson. Her haughty countenance melting as she held JL close.

Even giving him a smile and saying "How big you are now, you look like her."

He gave her a small smile in return.

Her husband though. He would break that hand that tried to touch him on his waist. Thanking a "lovely" omega like him for giving his son a child.

And his smile was making his whole body itch. Thankfully Madam Jin and JZX shielded him.

He was just happy that he was not there as often as Madam Jin. He'll take the haughty woman over that pervert.

The little family continued happily living their lives. JC started to work on the bakery. Not that many people wants to hire an omega so he'll just rather work for JYL.

JC love his little family.

JC watched JL grow. How he smiled up at them. Babbling away.

They were celebrating as he began to sit. When he began to walk and talk.

JC was content as they wake uo each day with smiles and laughter and love.

He was truly happy.

But it seems happiness always has its end.

Life is a bitch like that.

JL was 2 year old when it happened.

And he would never forget that day. That day the couple asked if he would babysit JL.

He happily said yes. They wanted to go to a date, JC gagged but he pushed them too.

They've been centered to baby JL, he's just glad he can give them a day to themselve and be as sticky as they want to be.

Without him and JL watching thamkfully.

They waved him goodbye. JL just saying bye bye to them. JYL kissing her baby's forehead and saying she loves him.

JC smiled. "I'll take care of him. You too enjoy the night. You deserve it." He said to her and JYL touched her brother's face and said "Thank you A-Cheng. For everything." JC just chuckled.

"Thanks for babysitting JL. You're an angel for us JC." JZX said and he rolled his eyes.

But he still laughed when JZX ruffles his hair. "I know you love me." JC scoffed while he laughed. "Doesn't Jiujiu love me A-Ling?" He cooed to his baby who just laughed and smacked his face.

"Love you baby. Be a good boy to your Jiujiu okay? See you later." He kissed his cheek.

"Bye!" JC waved JL's hand as he watched their car speed away.

JC's smile fall as a strange feeling filled him. He looked out again but he could see nothing but the road.

He shook his head. Chuckling. He's being silly.

"A-Ling, let's make a hot chocolate!"

JL nodded his head.

It was just a silly feeling. It was nothing.

He played with JL all throughout the night.

The two of them having a fun night together. They fell asleep as they watched all the Lion King movies.

But after that night they would awaken to a nightmare.

I feel so bad but my lunch is over and I would be back after work. 🥲

JC was awoken by Jin Ling's cries. He groaned as his neck and back cracked after sleeping on the floor.

He looked around, his eyes still adjusting. Only the light from the tv illuminated the living room. It took a while but he can finally see that the outside is still dark.

He hushed JL and rocked him back and forth before going to the kitchen to make him food. Swiping his phone in the process.

He let his nephew eat as he opens his phone to see 3AM plastered in the screen. His sleepy mind suddenly waking up as he wonders where the couple were.

He quickly unlocked his phone and checked his messages. There was a picture of them enjoying the restaurant a few messages back which he answered with a pic of him and JL watching Lion King.

He remembered those text and him telling them to just enjoy their date as he got JL.

He scrolled down and found a text around 11PM from Yanli that they were on their way home and just got munchkins for him and JL.

After that there was no text again.

There was an unknown number who miscalled him along with Madam Jin's number which he also missed.

JC's heart thudded in his chest as he fumbled with his phone to call Madam Jin. The anxiety filled him as the ringing continued until he heard the small click and Madam Jin's trembling voice answered.

"A-Cheng. huk, my son, your sister. hkkng." She was crying and JC panicked.

Madam Jin told him what happened. A drunk driver T boned JYL and JZX's car and toppled it. The two were immediately rushed to the hospital after the paramedics were called and both of them are in surgery.

JC just stood there, unbelieving at first. His ears ringing.

"Joo." JL's call broke the white noise and snapped him from his state. HIs eyes filling with tears as he looked at his confused nephew.

"Which hospital?" JC asked Madam Jin who was calling out to him in worry when he didn't answer earlier.

"I'll have my driver get you."

JC prepared some things for JL as he waited. His mind full of everything and nothing at the same time.

The memories of his parents leaving them are now coinciding with YL's figure and he immediately banished that thought. JC's eyes were raining as he made them ready.

A short while later, the driver came and he ushered them inside the car. JC hugged the sleepy JL to him, crying on top of his head.

"Joo, cry?" The two year old asks as he wiped JC's tears away. JC smiled at his nephew. "No, just sleepy. My eyes are watery." He says and JL nods.

JL fell asleep during the ride and JC carefully sped walk when they came to the hospital. Madam Jin welcomed them with a hug and a jostled JL just frowned as his grandmother smothered him with a hug. Her eyes still wet with tears.

"Are they okay? Where are they?" JC asked.

A man beside Madam Jin took JC away and made sure he was breathing properly and calming him down. He might be a Beta but he knows how to comfort the rattled omega.

"Calm down or you'll flood this hospital with your distressed scent and you'll wake JL up. That's it breathe."

JC followed his breathing and he could fill himself calming down, but the waterworks started once again.

"It's okay Jiang Wanyin, let it out." Meng Yao says. JC nodded his head as he took the offered handkerchief from his brother in law's half brother.

Once he calmed down, Meng Yao, or now called Jin Guangyao as that bastard finally took him in, told him how the two were doing.

The surgery was somewhat a success as they managed to save the two but they are now in coma with the doctors having no idea when they'll wake up.

JGY helped him up as he was ushered towards the window overlooking the couple's room. Both of them had a lot of bandages and tubes hooked up on them. Monitors beeping that are the only indication that they are still alive.

But still asleep.

Madam Jin gave them a room to a hotel they owned near the hospital. Anything they needed they can just text JGY but she requested that they rest after he continued standing there, watching them for hours.

She only managed to persuade JC after saying that JL needs a bed to sleep.

The Madam became her rock during that time.

She managed and paid for everything. Barking at doctors to do anything, a miracle or whatever just so they will open their eyes.

But they remained closed.

JC would often cry at his sister's side as he waits for her to wake up.

They've brought JL inside as well, trying to induce the parent to recognize their young pup and wake up for him but nothing.

Their heads were badly shaken due to the accident and they could only hope for a miracle.

But bad things just doesn't end there. He wished it does.

A year into the coma, news about the Madam's failing health reached him.

JC sneered at Jin Guangshan who greeted him instead of the Madam. He's only seen him twice during the year that his son was at the hospital. And both times, he was only there to harass them.

He's not worried for JZX's life, he's just worried that he won't have a proper heir. That's why JGY was with him most of the time. He's thankful for the beta's presence as he kept him from molesting him and angering the Madam.

So JC was worried when she wasn't there that day.

JGS cornered him as he tried to put a hand on his shoulder, the omega baring his teeth at the older alpha.

"Such fiery thing, you remind me of your mother. But she's not as lovely as you." He raked his eyes all over him and JC did his best to stop the shiver of disgust he felt.

He knew how he sees him, he's commented on his fertility since he's seen him. Even when his son was right there fighting for his life. The bastard can only proposition him.

JC could only hold his anger thanks to JGY as he could see the same hatred plastered on his eyes.

JGS smirked at him.

"I do like your fangs and claws. But you'll crawl to me... Sooner or later." He whispered to him and JC wanted to punch his face.

If only it wasn't his coffers that made sure his family stays alive. He would have clobbered him already.

But that words was like a curse.

And not a few months more, he learned of Madam Jin's death due to her poor health. JGY gave notice to him, his face contorted in both grief and rage.

JC was devastated as the two managed to get closer during the year they've cared for YL & JZX.

"I bear far worse news. That madman has cut off funding for JYL's care. Saying he'll only pay for JZX's care." JGY told him and JC can't believe how evil that man was.

He knew what he wanted, remembering the words he said before. He would never, but YL, she needs care too.

JGY held JC's hand as the omega started to panic. "Wanyin, look at me. Madam has a feeling he would do something bad to you and JL. She gave this to me."

He handed him thick envelopes. He opened them with trembling hands to find dozen of documents.

They were legal documents and bank accounts.

And most importantly, custody and guardianship of JL.

JC looked up at JGY, tears filling his eyes. There was a lot in the accounts set up by Madam Jin.

It's a lot of money but with JYL's expensive hospital bills, it'll be depleted.

"I'll help you anyway I can. Just survive for me. Never let him place his claw on you. Okay?" JGY smiled a sad smile at him, he was used to having a bad card dealt at him. So he knows how to move against them, he'll help JC.

JC nodded his head. He'll do anything for his family.

At first he did his best to look for jobs willing to take him.

It's hard. He can hardly get a decent work. He also needs to take care of JL, and not to mention, in a year JL also needs to start attending kindergarten.

Their funds may be large for now but that won't be for long.

And if it wasn't a punch to his face. He can only stay at a job for a few months before handsy and perverted Betas and Alphas who think of him as nothing but a piece of meat and breeding machine, gets touchy and he'll slug at one of them.

He earned quite a reputation. A bad one.

And that's why he was here now.

Those worthless people do have a point. And he remembered how he helped his sister and her husband conceive. He's researched how much surrogates can get paid and it was a good amount.

It had started even getting higher due to lower birth rates.

Fewer omegas and a more tolerant society about bonding and marriage of sub genders had plummeted the country's ability to produce children.

Of course JGY tried to stop him at first. Promising to help him more but even he knew he would not get a penny more from that bastard.

So JC started his journey as an Omega surrogate for unfortunate couples that could not conceive.

At least this way, even if he's selling his body. It was not that kind of way.

And it wasn't that bad actually. His first time he was nervous and thinking he made a mistake.

But the transaction was formal and respectable. Everything was done with a doctor to supervise. The first couple was also generous and if he was being honest, he liked the feeling of being pregnant.

He gives each child growing inside of him the love they deserve to feel.

He takes a year break after the first one, before he took in his second. JGY had cleared both couple and introduced them, the first one a beta and couple pair like YL and ZX but the second was an omega and beta pair.

This time it was easier. He had two experience in his belt.

Sometimes JGY would laugh at his wobbling figure. While JL would marvel at how big he gets.

He would be a great older brother as he comforts his Jiujiu during his harder time in pregnancy and coos at the baby. He actually cried when they need to give the child to their parents.

It's been 3 years since he'd done this, It has helped a ton as he managed to pay JYL's hospital and JL's school as well as their food and shelter.

JGY also makes sure his clients are great people so he's grateful to him. Although he still think he should do other things to earn.

He was in the hospital visiting the couple with Jin Ling. His nephew would always rub his glands on his mother and father's every time they visit, as those few pheromones helps their bond remain.

And sometimes JC hopes JL's presence would help the two to wake up.

At least they were stable and the doctors has also been sympathetic of their plight.

They even charge a bit more for JZX to help cover JYL's bills as they give it atop the discount they are already giving.

JGS doesn't even check the bills sent to him by the hospital.

But he does show his presence around a few times and JC always makes sure to hide JL away from him.

He found him once when he was pregnant and JGS frowned at him, asking him why he's selling himself like that when he could just turn to him.

JC just glared at him.

He'd birth all the child in the world before he would even let this man touch or worse pup him.

JC let out a sigh as he waited for the new couple to show up. He rocked his legs as he waited for them. He was nervous this time, as JGY has introduced him to a two Alpha couple.

He let out another staggering breath, his hand squeezing the latte he ordered.

A tap on his shoulder almost made his heart leap out of his chest. He frowned, turning around to berate the person who startled him.

Only to get his word stuck in his mouth.

"Are you our surrogate?"

Okay I'll stop here for now. It's getting late. I hope it's not too confusing? and I hope you're enjoying the story as much as I do!

The angst is over and soon I would be doing my best for the incoming smut. :D

The two Alphas stared at him weirdly when he still did not answer after a few seconds.

"I'm sorry, we must have the wrong person." The man with a blinding smile said politely.

Jiang Cheng got out of his stupor and shook his head, standing up abruptly.

"No, I'm sorry you got the right guy. Please sit." He said as he stopped them. Thankfully they were in a more private part of the establishment and he did not attra t attention for his blunder.

"Ah, I'm Jiang Wanyin, by the way. Nice meeting you." He introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Jiang, I am Lan Xichen and this is my partner Nie Mingjue." The other replied back pointing at the big buff Alpha beside him who's been quiet the whole time, staring down at him.

He fidgeted a bit at the strong gaze but smiled nonetheless.

Again he pointed at the seat in front of him and the two sat down.

They ordered first before jumping to the main reason they were there.

When the waiter left, Jiang Cheng took a deep breath before starting.

He doesn't know where the sudden nervousness came but rolled with it.

"So I heard from JGY that you wanted to hire a Surrogate. I'm honored that you've chosen me as a potential candidate." He started.

"Hmn. A-Yao has recommended you to us. We've been looking for ways to start a family and we believe you could help us." LXC replied charmingly.

JC blushed at the smile and gaze of the older man.

Even NMJ smiled at him, or maybe he's smirking.

JC bites his tongue. Why are these Alphas so good looking and his type? He's worked with alphas before but this two are definitely up there.

Rich, handsome and dominant.

He's even wondering how much the world must be crying when these two fine specimens paired up.

But he's not here to judge and frankly they match each other.

"So how does this work?" NMj asked and JC started to explain the procedure while they wait for their food.

JC talked about the medical and legal part of the contract.

"Is it possible for us to use your eggs to be fertilized instead of using ours?" NMJ asked and JC paused at that question.

He's never done that before. All surrogacy he did, he carried the couple's inseminated egg.

And while everyone has the capability to carry and get pregnant. Their sub genders still play a part on how easy that was.

And Alphas, even females ones are hard to get pregnant, let alone two Alpha males.

But he never thought he'll ever be the one providing the egg.

LXC noticed his sudden hesitation.

"It's just a proposal. If you're uncomfortable, we won't be pursuing that thought. But if you're amenable, we would like the carrier to also be the biological mother as we've researched that it has higher chances for Alpha pairs." He explained.

JC nodded at the logic but he's still hesitant.

Before he could say anything, the food arrives and the two Alphas asked him to eat before proceeding.

JC bit his lip, he's being unprofessional but he's never done anything like that and frankly it scared him.

The reason why he could part with the child he's cared for and carried for 9 months was due to the fact that he knew those kids were not his.

If he ever put up his own egg and his omega claims the child, he knew he would never give them.

It's too risky.

The meal ended with a bit of an awkward air around them.

"I think we've came on too hard at you today. But we really like you and we think you're a good candidate. We would also want to really think this over so if it's fine for you, we want to schedule again?" NMJ proposed.

JC blushed in mortification at how badly he handled this meeting that his clients are the one proposing a do over.

He readily agreed, they seem like really great people. And he would like to help them with their wish foe a child. And he understood where they're coming from.

LXC ever the saint, has dispelled the tension and kept the conversation going. "It was very nice meeting you today Mr. Jiang, we look forward ro our next schedule."

They exchanged contacts and JC also gave them the materials and documents he bròught so they could look it over.

JC gave out a disappointed sigh when he got home. He's really blundered earlier.

And in the back of his mind he ry wanted to do it even when he knew it was stupid and bound for pain.

He groaned and free fall into the sofa. JL and JGY coming out of the kitchen to find him there.

JL squealed when he saw his Jiujiu, "You're home, Jiujiu!" He tackled JC who rolled to his back and grunted as he caught his nephew.

"Ugh, you're getting so heavy." He teased him while adjusting the baby boy to a more comfortable position.

JL pouted, "A-Ling is not heavy!"

The two men laughed at their nephew. JC rained kissed on JL's cheeks making him laugh.

"Stop Jiujiu! Hahaha." JL pushed his face away and he put a hand on his chest faking hurt.

"JL doesn't want my kisses, he doesn't love me anymore!" He said dramatically while JL panics.

"No, A-Ling loves you Jiujiu." He cried and JC laughs, hugging the child tight to him.

"And I love you too." He replied making JL smile.

"How about me?" JGY said, making them remember his presence.

JL shot to his feet having remembered something. "Shushu and I made crepes!"

"So it's your shushu that's making you a pudgy baby," he pinched JL's chubby cheeks who whined at him.

"So did you make crepes for me too?" He asked and JL gets excited again, pulling him to the kitchen to show him his creation.

JC's eyes met JGY who just quirked a brow at him.

He's definitely intrigued and waiting for this day's meeting. JC just mouthed later to JGY who just nodded his head.

The three enjoyed eating the crepes JL made for them and they tried to manage the sugar-fueled kid until he crashes after dinner.

JGY let out a pained groan.

"I don't know how you manage to care for a kid and while pregnant!" JGY said in wonder. JC's laugh can be heard from the kitchen.

The omega appeared holding two cups of steaming tea, he gingerly placed them on the table. JGY took one with a thanks, sighing into the cup.

After a few minutes of winding down and silence, JGY broke the peace with his question.

"So how did the meeting go?" He looked at JC pointedly and the omega flinched.

JGY balked, "That bad? Did they do something to you? I swear if they do I'll-" JC stopped the ranging beta.

"They're fine! They didn't do anything to me. It's me, I feel so disappointed at the unprofessionalism, I showed them today." He replied. His fingers twirled in anxiety and his face showed how disapponted he was.

"Do you want to tell me what happened? I did refer them to you."

JGY do know from experience the integrity of the two Alpha he referred, seeing as he's their best friend even before he was picked up by his shitty father.

Their mutual hatred & disgust with the old man was unrivaled & he knew how polite they were. So something must've happened.

JC hesitated first, looking uncertain at JGY before he took a deep breath.

He told him about the two Alphas' proposition and the uncertainty he's feeling taking up that job. But there's also something in him that doesn't want to disappoint the two Alphas and do it for them.

JGY hummed, his brain working at what his two friends was thinking. He looked at JC who was fidgeting in his seat, cheeks flushed when he's talking about the two and something in his head connected.

He gripped his friend's hands to stop him from rocking his feet in apprehension.

"Do what you are comfortable with, this is a business and a transaction and you don't owe them anything past your borders. Think about what you want to do and not what they want, we can always find new clients more ameable to your current set up." JGY tried to ease his worries.

JC smiled gratefully at his friend, a reassuring smile was given to him in return and he felt like his head was clearer than earlier.

"Thank you." He replied and JGY just smirked.

"Sleep on it, schedule another meeting with them and give them your decision. Don't be pressured."

JC nodded his head. The two changed subjects and just talked about JL, their siblings and other things.

He accompanied JGY out the apartment, showing him out.

"Take care as always A-Yin." He waved his goodbye.

Once he's alone to his thoughts, he had a lot to think about.

JC weighted the pros and cons of the transaction as well as the feeling in his guts.

He started listening to it after what happened to JYL and JZX.

He cleaned the cups they used, then gave JL a kiss before he slip to his bed and did what JGY suggested. Sleep on it.

JC looked down at the yawning child in his hand, the baby's ace was still crinkling and it was wiggling in his hold. Tiny hands grasping in the air, he held his left hand out.

He chuckled, pumping out calming pheromones, his index finger was caught and the baby smiled at him.

Two other toddlers look down at the baby, excitement clear on their eyes. They're talking a mile a minute but JC couldn't hear much.

A static noise buzzed in his ear. But he felt himself hug the two kids and at the door, he saw... JL? he waved for him to come and his nephew did.

His nephew smiled at the baby in his hands he was saying something but he still can't hear.

Only the soft bubbling and groans of the baby enters his ear.

He's feeling a bit dizzy.

Two large hands engulfed them all and JC leaned into the warmth they excuded.

He closed his eyes

When he opened them again, he was met by the familiar ceiling of his room.

JC groaned, his head felt heavy and he also felt like something he forget something important.

His omegan instinct was going haywire, like it was looking for something it was missing.

He shook his head, trying to dispel the weird feeling.

He looked beside him to see the bold red colors of the clock telling him that it was already 6 am.

JC bolted up right and he went to go to JL's room to wake his nephew for school.

Worries thrown to the back of his head.

He busied himself, making breakfast, making sure his sleepy nephew is ready before bringing JL to the kindergarten.

Then after that he went to the hospital to check on YL and ZX, he hears the same disappointing reports from the doctors. He settled the bill before leaving.

He did groceries after, noting their low supplies earlier.

He was checking out meats, thinking of making burger steaks for dinner when he suddenly heard his name being called out.

"Mr. Jiang?" He heard a deep voice beside him and he looked to his side to see a large chest.

He looked up the towering man to see Nie Mingjue in front of him. He unconsciously let go of the meat pack he's holding as he's stupefied at seeing one of the man he's just had worries the day before.

"Ah, Mr. Nie, it's nice to uhm, meet you here?" He said confused and unsure.

The older Alpha hummed in response.

"It's a surprise to bump into you, Mr. Jiang," NMJ said and JC internally shook his head and straightened his spine as he looked up at the Alpha.

"Please, just call me Wanyin. It really is a surprise to meet you here. Do you go here often?"

"Hmm, then please call me Mingjue too. And no, not really but the grocery near us was out of the protein shake I want and since I had time to jog this morning, I decided to check this one out.

I did not know I'll find something better." He chuckled and grinned handsomely at JC.

JC knew that the Alpha was only teasing but he can't help the blush spreading on his cheeks.

"Please don't jest, Mr N- Uhm, Mingjue." He replied despite being flustered.

NMJ's smirked but his face became serious again.

"Kidding aside, I would like to apologize yesterday."

"We made things awkward by being too forward with our request but it was truly what we wish for. Yet we also want you to be our surrogate so whatever you decide, A-Huan and I would respect it.

JC gave out a nervous chuckle. "Please don't apologize for what you want,"

It took me off guard but I' thinking very hard for your request and it's an honor that you would still choose me bring your child despite my choice. I am grateful for that." His smile was easier.

NMJ stared at his eyes with so much respect and he's looking at him as a human.

"I am looking forward to our next meeting, It was nice bumping to you today but I'll have to go." NMJ bowed his head and JC let him go.

He felt better after meeting the scarier Alpha and knowing him slightly better. He was as gentlemanly as LXC just a bit rough in the edges.

JC has a week to finalize his decision.

Maybe it would be much easier than he thought.
