Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to push east and southeast whilst careful not to over extend, focusing on maintaining its communications and resupply requirements. The consolidation of Ukrainian forces in numerous regions is ongoing.
2. Ukrainian forces manoeuvred securing more settlements and strategic roads around Lyman yesterday on all fronts and pushed through Russian defences in part along the Oskil river region.
3. Fighting increased again around Bakhmut with significant fighting by the highway intersection to the south, but no real Russian gains yesterday.
4. We shall refrain from any further operational details around the Kharkiv counteroffensive with a lot happening into Luhansk and around Donetsk now.
5. Russian air/missile strikes continued to occur across widespread regions yesterday and overnight, but remain at a much less number than the early trends of the invasion. Impacts were reported mostly in the south and southeast. At least one interception was also reported.
6. Ukrainian forces downed another Russian Su-25 yesterday, that’s more than four combat fighter/bomber aircraft in the last week or so and more than 50 destroyed since the Russian invasion.
7. That’s a lot of fast air for Russia to loose considering its air activity has not been widespread and dynamic due to having no air superiority.
9. There are ongoing reports of Russian forces having significant supply problems for their aircraft now, with activity seemingly reducing.
10. Ukrainian Air Defences are also increasing as they re-secure new regions as part of counteroffensives. Ukrainian air activity continued to be high yesterday with several SEAD Operations destroying Russian vehicles, resupply posts, command and control and air defences.
11. Russian shelling yesterday was intensive around Donetsk and towards Bakhmut with intensive phases reported into Sumy and towards Kharkiv again. Elsewhere shelling was mostly more sporadic in the regions impacted.
12. There was minimal reported information out of the Ukrainian counteroffensive east of Zaporizhzhia yesterday.
13. Around Kherson Ukrainian forces continue to make small gains under heavy resistance, with the progress mostly in the degrading of Russian defences and resupply options through effective HIMARS and air/missile strikes.
14. Another Russian barge was destroyed on the Dnipro as well as multiple Russian resupply depots and vehicles.
15. Reports of Russian submarine manoeuvres in the Black Sea is nothing new. Russian Naval activity here and in the Sea of Azov remains mostly unchanged.
16. USAF and RAF ISR aircraft continue to monitor this closely. This is the USAF RQ-4B Global Hawk high altitude UAV monitoring movements overnight.

Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to push east and southeast into Luhansk. We shall refrain from operational details and gains here as several operations are pivotal, underway or imminent.
2. East of Bakhmut Russian forces conducted localised manoeuvres yesterday, but were repelled again. As quickly as Russian units move forward and secure ground here, they suffer losses and retreat.
3. Lyman remains contested with fighting ongoing on the fringes and some heavy Ukrainian artillery in use.
Around Donetsk Ukrainian forces are conducting a number of counteroffensive operations, but no significant changes on the ground are reported as yet.
Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to make gains east and southeast as Russian forces try to consolidate defences and protect their critical re-supply corridor to and from Belgorod.
2. Svatovo is critical to this with a Russian FOB and significant resupply coordination there, but there are reports a Russian base was destroyed there yesterday with significant Russian losses.
3. Ukrainian units are now pushing into Luhansk Oblast east of Siversk, the Oblast now no longer under full control of Russian forces. There are reports Ukrainian SF and Foreign Legion units have entered Lysychansk and already got units across the river to the east.
Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to push east and southeast re-securing more roads, settlements and pushing Russian units back.
2. Russian forces are digging into defensive positions along the Oskil river whilst continuing to try a send units west to conduct offensives around Bakhmut which has proved to be costly in recent weeks.
3. Russian forces are desperately trying to reinforce the Svatove defensive lines a primary gateway of their resupply corridor from Belgorod.
Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues pushing into new regions and consolidating and reinforcing its resupply lines.
2. Heavy fighting is ongoing around Lyman, east of Bakhmut and east of Siversk. Russian forces made some minimal gains yesterday east of Bakhmut, but with heavy losses and now decreasing options to advance due to isolation and inadequate re-supply.
3. Russian air/missile strikes continued yesterday and overnight, but remain far more subdued than anticipated. Several missile interceptions were made by Ukrainian forces.
Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to consolidate further, search and make safe a significant number of areas finding more abandoned weapons, vehicles and ammunition, with mass graves reportedly located in Izyum.
2. Russian forces continue to retreat in many locations with many now consolidating and attempting to regenerate back across the border. The Russian response to the rapid Ukrainian counteroffensive has been mostly subdued so far.
3. Russian air/missile strikes continued yesterday and overnight with impacts on infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih and Kirovohrad Oblast with at least one interception reported here.
Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive continues to consolidate across the Kharkiv Oblast. President Zelenskyy visited liberated regions announcing the Ukrainian flag would again fly above all areas Russia has occupied, including Crimea.
2. There are reports a traffic accident occurred involving the convoy of President Zelenskyy in Kyiv yesterday with two drivers injured, but the President mostly unharmed. However, it is reported the President did not conduct his nightly briefing possibly due to minor treatment.
3. There are some reports this may have been another assassination attempt. Most attempts so far have been thwarted well before and have not been widely reported, but there is not enough information ascertained as yet to know if this was another attempt or a genuine accident.
