Τον Αύγουστο του 2022 διαμένουν νόμιμα στην Ελλάδα 754.862 μετανάστες. Εξ αυτών το 29,1% είναι Πολίτες ΕΕ και Ομογενείς, το 63% είναι πολίτες Τρίτων χωρών με ισχυρή άδεια Διαμονής και το 7,9% είναι Δικαιούχοι Διεθνείς Προστασίας με ενεργές ΑΔΕΤ.
Αιτήσεις Ασύλου 8/ 2022 παρουσιάζονται αυξημένες κατά 0,5% σε σχέση με 7/ 2022 ενώ οι προ-καταγραφές αυξημένες κατά 26%.

Those that support the open borders idea,they pretend but they don't care about human lives.
They won't hesitate,to put lives at risk,at land & sea. They will tell them which routes to take,stack them into boats & trucks & promise a better life.
Nothing goes for free of course...
Billions of € spent to tackle illegal migration by the EU while hundreds of million € are the profits for the smugglers every year. Image
Secured borders at land & sea make smugglers & illegal migration difficult and as a result, less lives will perish and less income for the smugglers

Not to mention the political impact to the lives of the European citizens.

Facts that Erdogan "forgot" to mention
Boat departed from Turkey. Coast guard didn't do anything to stop it, most likely pushed it to the open to violate Greek waters.
Under 2016 EU-TR agreement, Turkey MUST collect those departing from Turkey.

The EMP is asking for Greece to drop security of the EU borders for the shake of 100s of thousands of illegal migrants and refugees.
Their "humanitarian" agenda goes against EU member states.
Makes you wonder about the timing of this statement, that coincide with the one Erdoğan addressed in the UN and blamed Greece about "crimes against humanity" regarding illegal migrants and refugees
