i think wangxian's family and friends would come to the conclusion that surprising them is Not a good idea.

more than once they have given wangxian surprise visits only to realise that the couple had been in the middle of fucking.

sometimes it's not even a surprise. lxc has the access to their house and if he comes to visit (well-informed) at a time when wx are not at home, he is greeted with the sight them entering, wy's legs wrapped around lwj's waist and arms around lwj's neck, kissing and moaning.

one would think that this would last only in the honeymoon period. but no. even when wangxian are married for 20+ years and in their 40s with their eldest being a literal teenager, they. would. not. stop. their. pda.

their children simply learn to Look Away.

there are days when i feel that lwj should overhear some lan elders talking shit about his husband and it's his final straw and he takes his husband's hand and leaves 🤩

i just think that lwj would want his husband to live in a place where he's not loathed😭

lwj can always walk up to the mountain whenever he has duties. but he can always come back to his husband, who has a big smile on his face, free of all burdens. he can listen to wy talk about the things he did while roaming around in caiyi while lwj was away in CR

maybe wy even gets an a-yi to teach him the gusu dialect and he flirts with lwj with that and ofc lwj will pin him down and have his way with wy (who is very much happy about the outcome)

wangxian au where wy meets lwj on a flight. and there's a wailing toddler involved.

wy knew he must've seen it coming when he entered the plane with a-yuan perched on his hip. he had received wary glances from his co-passengers.

clearly, toddlers on a plane = nightmare.

still, wy thought (hope, more like) that it'd be different with a-yuan. after all, his son is the bestest boy!!

when he reaches their seats, he sees a stoic but very, very sexy hunk of a man sitting on the aisle seat.

wy has to gulp his own saliva to suppress his thirst.

the man casts a look at him and then at his son, and lets out a sigh. well, another wary passenger who hates kids. was wy supposed to leave his son behind then?! how is this his fault?
