Imo State Government Special Announcement

As part of activities marking this year's Independence Anniversary of Nigeria, the Executive Governor of imo state,His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma will lead Christians resident in the state to worship at Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri.

The Holy Mass will hold by 10am on Sunday, September 25,2022.

All Christians, including government officials,are enjoined to join his Excellency for this important Mass where prayers will be offered for continued unity and peace in Nigeria and Imo state.

Imo State is yet again enjoying dividends of Democracy from the Federal Government through the interventions of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma as the President has approved the construction

of a 10Mwatts Hydropower Generating Plant at Otamiri and Nworie Rivers.

Governor Hope Uzodimma disclosed this at the preliminary luncheon for the 62nd Independence Day Thanksgiving Mass, where he hosted Ndi Imo at the Government House Banquet Hall.

The Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma on Sunday drove words of Hope to the hearts of Ndi Imo in a Thanksgiving Mass at Maria Assumpta Cathedral Owerri conducted by Archbishop Ugorji, marking Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day Anniversary.

Governor Uzodimma in his address agreed that Nigeria has survived enormous challenges but there is still hope in God Almighty for his grace in sustaining the peace and unity this Nation, despite various challenges and shortcomings.
