⭐What is String of Pearl’s Chinese doctrine?
⭐And Impact of String of Pearls on India.

A THREAD🧵:-

👉 ‘String of Pearls Project’ is a geographical theory related to the Chinese intentions(military, commercial, sea line communication and diplomatic) in the Indian ocean

(1/7) Image
👉 String of Pearls is a geopolitical hypothesis proposed by political researchers in 2004.

👉 This doctrine along with initiatives like CPEC & other parts of China’s One Belt and One Road Initiative, is a threat to India’s national security.

(2/7)
👉 This as such a system would encircle India and threaten its power projection, trade, and potentially territorial integrity.

👉 Similar military and commercial facilities have been developed by China to encircle Japan and other American allies as well.
