Ukraine SITREP 1. The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast continues to make progress re-securing more roads and settlements. Heavy fighting continues east of the Oskil river around a number of towns and settlements we shall refrain from listing.
2. Russian reinforcements are arriving from the Luhansk direction via train deployment to Rostov.
3. Heavy fighting also continues around Lyman and further south, around the eastern settlements of Bakhmut.

4. Russian air/missile strikes continued yesterday and overnight, but remain subdued with less stand off air strikes, less naval strikes and the use of more and more adapted weapons systems and missiles.
5. Russian air activity has reduced significantly with daily sorties as low as 50 some days, despite good weather conditions. This is about 75% lower than around the start of the invasion.
6. Ukrainian aircraft continue to be active on SEAD Ops, Close Air Support and Combat Air Patrols across much of the country, but mostly in the south and southeast. Yesterday Ukrainian forces downed another Russian Su-25 and another Mi-8 helicopter.
7. Russian shelling was most intensive east of Bakhmut and north of Donetsk yesterday, with more sporadic shelling in the other impacted regions.

8. In the Kherson Oblast the Ukrainian counteroffensives continue with Russias focus on desperate resupply operations and trying to reinforce some units.
9. Ukrainian long range artillery attacks and air/missile strikes continue to derail Russian resupply operations and degrade Russian defences.
10. In Melitopol yesterday a VBIED detonated near a Russian military post. Partisan activity continues to intensify and diversify in its capability across the occupied regions as referendum activity increases.
11. Russian Naval activity in the Black Sea remains mostly unchanged.
