Toyota will only produce 800,000 cars in October because of a chip shortage
Toyota Motor Corp said Thursday it plans to produce about 800,000 vehicles worldwide in October, about 100,000 less than its average monthly production plan because of a shortage of semiconductors.
The world's largest automaker by sales volume said last month that it planned to produce about 900,000 cars a month from September through November.
Now it expects to produce an average of about 850,000 cars a month from October through December due to supply chain problems, the company said.
Still, Toyota is sticking to its goal of producing 9.7 million vehicles worldwide for the current fiscal year through March 2023.

After the primaries and the candidates emerge with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from the South West, APC, Atiku Abubakar on the platform of PDP and Peter Obi on the platform of Labour Party and I announced Afenifere’s support for Peter Obi, not a few Yoruba leaders question why I should..

When the man was caught up, a fight broke out: one of the soldiers jumped him, Kemp grabbed him by the throat with both hands and began strangling him. At the same time, a second soldier shot Kemp, and the man woke up in a cold sweat.
To his surprise, he found his wife showing no signs of life. Kemp tried to wake her up and suddenly realized he had strangled her in her sleep.
The court found the man not guilty, explaining what happened by the term "night terror. In this state, a person who has a nightmare is..
New York, Tokyo and San Francisco are the places where the most millionaires live, according to a new report by Henley & Partners Group.
Half of the 10 cities with the most millionaires are in the United States.
But a closer look reveals that New York City lost 12% of its wealthy in the first half of 2022, while the San Francisco area saw a 4% increase. London, which ranks fourth, saw a 9% decline. The report defines millionaires as people with investable assets of $1 million or more.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai are also among the cities with the fastest-growing number of millionaires. The emigration of wealthy Russians has also contributed to the UAE's record influx.

The general belief in this trend has contributed to more than $53 billion invested in private companies developing autonomous vehicle technology since 2014. Many startups have already begun pilot (and sometimes even commercial) launches of their projects, and some are waiting...
for regulatory approvals. Major automakers have played an important role in these investments.
As with any emerging industry, not every company will be successful, and there is likely to be a lot of consolidation in the self-driving car industry.
