oppressive. This is a purely political/ideological scheme to shift the consciousness of children to believe what they are peddling so that when they are adults they actively dismantle America (inequitable systems). For all of the people who learned real critical thinking skills,
imagine the ways these competencies can be interpreted. Self-Awareness- are you "aware" there are 2 genders or do you view this through an equity lens and believe there are endless genders? Self-Management- are you able to "manage" your emotions while being true to your
personal values & beliefs or do you view this through an equity lens & believe managing emotions should be based on if you are oppressed or priveledged? Responsible Decision Making- are you able to make responsible decisions that aren't influenced by peer/social pressure or do
you view this through an equity lens that requires your decisions to be made on what is best for the collective good & not who you are as an individual? Relationship Skills- are you able to build relationships with people who respect your beliefs & boundaries or do you view this
through an equity lens & build personal relationships with individuals who only accept you if you adopt their personal views? Social Awareness- are you able to respectively engage your duties as an active citizen while being true to your values and beliefs or do you view this
through an equity lens that requires you to actively participate in social movements to accommodate the requirements of any group deemed marginalized even when you don't personally believe it?
