• App review takes time & invites are sent at diff times so try not to stress & compare w/ your peers, esp in the beginning

• Look up common Qs (why this specialty/prog, hobbies) & practice w/ anyone (w/ your proper 💻 setup)! Start here: @Inside_TheMatch’s website & @TheRadRoom’s docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…. Anything in your app is fair game!

• Make a doc w/ common Q&As, things you def want programs to know about you, list of your +/-s, any 🚩🚩 you have (& include how you’re going to answer Qs about them), etc. Need a confidence boost before an interview? Look over the doc before the interview— you got this!

• Have an easily accessible, centralized 🗓 for interviews & other commitments.
• Prepare by watching @yashaguptamd’s
• Research the prog so you can ask tailored Qs that aren’t answered elsewhere! You’re also seeing if they’re a good fit for you.

• Before the day, you’ll be sent a list of your interviewers, so look them up!
• Programs typically have meet & greets w/ residents, often the night before the interview. Make sure to go & ask Qs— residents have been in your shoes recently & may have a say in the process

• Take notes during the day (eye contact & focus is imp so wait for breaks to jot things down) & note how the prog made you feel to help you remember progs when it comes time for ranking. Some also create prog spreadsheets w/their priorities, some rank programs as they go!
