The majority of early unlocking holders are large strategic shareholders who are here for the long-term vision, and won’t be selling. Selling is healthy - but our goal is long-term aligned holders, which means...
3/ New holders
We’ve been working hard to onboard new strategic long-term holders to buy any remaining supply wishing to sell directly, with the ultimate goal of minimizing any unlocking $IMX hitting the market.
More to be announced here soon. 😎
5/ Incentive-aligned grants:
*Every* single grant the foundation makes is both A) time vested and B) milestone driven by volume.
Every successful grant drives huge volume to the IMX.
Allows us to drive incentive alignment with partners, and aggressive - but underwritten growth
Right now, more than $8B in volume is set to be driven on IMX by games + marketplaces.
On top of this, we’re building continuously building a new holder-base to help offset any grants from hitting the market
7/ Our first:
Thrilled to announce the foundation has secured multiple VCs, including @TheSpartanGroup, as new holders for the upcoming grant milestone for @GameStopNFT marketplace earns on launch (3.7M $IMX) 🎉
No tokens will be hitting the market from this milestone unlock.
We are working with the Foundation to make $IMX reporting more consistent for circulating supply.
Currently, circulating tokens only include tokens that have been distributed. Abnormally small.
9/ Cleaning up:
Moving forward, tokens unlocked in line with the Tokenomics Whitepaper will be included in Circulating Supply. This will significantly increase circulating supply to reflect the accurate schedule, without any new tokens being created or changing in status.
10/ @immutable has built through 3 bear markets, raised $300M+, and is here to help make digital property rights real for gamers world-wide.
We’ve onboarded more games in the the past 3 months than in the company’s lifetime - including > 40 switching from competitors.
TL;DR we're not stopping till web3 goes mainstream through ridiculously fun games. Next is all tokenizing all unique value as NFTs and revolutionising ownership.
Most importantly: community is the heart of our continued growth.
- Price trends
- Win rates in decks
- Stacked displays (based on metadata; soon to be supercharged by IMX metadata orders)
Games will have billions of # of NFTs. Bringing liquidity to them requires custom, exceptional UXs for games.
@GodsUnchained@aquadotxyz .@aquadotxyz is being led by one of the heaviest hitters to enter the web3 marketplace spaces, @seandaveyryan. Former VP at Meta, one of the top execs at the world's biggest company.
Extremely bullish to see this level of talent building in web3 games.
Absolutely thrilled to welcome Henry Cho, former Global Head of Product Design for Payments @facebook, to @Immutable!
Henry comes with two decades of design experience in tech and will be leading the immutable protocol's product design. What can you expect from here? 👇
Henry's coming to drive our mission to:
- Build a world class, API-only UX to enable mainstream devs to build games as simply as possible.
- Enable mainstream consumer UX across marketplaces & games building on IMX.
- Design drip 💧
Immutable will continue hiring the best talent across the globe to continue building our vision of enabling the next billion players to truly own their in-game items.
Stay tuned for more talent announcements this week. 👀
Thrilled to announce @immutable protocol fees are LIVE!
This is the final step before launching $IMX staking, and will allow the next generation of web3 games to reach planet scale with cheap, reliable and incentive-aligned pricing.
- Zero gas fees, always: creates a better cost-structure for games & UX for gamers. No prior crypto required.
- Connecting traders: marketplaces can take their fees on top of immutable's protocol seamlessly, but $IMX is rewarded to traders everywhere.
Gas fees are important for securing L1s, but market-based pricing is incompatible w/ reliable cost-of-trades/mints that enable giant games to build large businesses with NFTs as the backbone.
Immutable solves this by paying variable gas costs w/ economies of scale via rollups.
